Update: no longer nickys. Now Wapati. Fod good but new menu.Old review:Good for lunch! Please not that the honey chicken is half a chicken and can be shared! Mash potatoes were also delisous. Make sure to get the cream gravyParking: Had parking specifically for restaurantKid-friendliness: Don't know about inside, but while sitting outside next to the river even noisy kids are not easy to hear at the next table.

Made reservation but they didn't have it, but sat us immediately in the bar area next to the piano...yes, live music which was awesome, he played a wide variety and went around the room for requests. The prime rib was the best I've had in years, and husband had the tone which he said was also great. Service was very good. Nice ambiance for our 32nd anniversary!

We were so lucky to get a table in less than 10mins on our anniversary dinner night! The staff was so friendly and the atmosphere here was really nice. Our server, Kevin (great name!), was super friendly and did a great job. The steaks were the best we've had, and we've been to many steakhouses!! Cooked perfectly and had the best flavor. If you're looking for a great steakhouse, look no further than Nicky's in Estes Park!!

Dinner came before our drink order, service was slow. Feel the food is overpriced, not the same experience as I had last year. Fish was fishy tasting, should have sent it back. Shrimp was like Seapak frozen shrimp, and it cost $30. Didn't have a steak, sure they are good but I couldn't see spending the money. Only had coors lite and Stella on tap. We will not be back, and our friends said the same.
Due to inclement weather, we couldn't sit on the patio, but the room we were seated in was cozy & welcoming. Your prime rib is one of THE best I have had. This coming from a gal who has relatives who own black angus cattle ranches in MT & can tell the difference in cuts of beef. The seasoning & aging is perfect. I had medium & it was just pink, there was just enough fat to make it succulent & not grisly. The Brussel sprout sides were also a hit! Keep doing what you're doing!!!

My husband orders ribeye steak and he go NOTHING with it!! Never have seen this anywhere! Nothing but meat. He wasn’t offered any side so he would eat whatever came with it. Disgraceful

Dinner salad was good. I had fried chicken. If you like more breading than chicken this is the meal for you. My husband had the 14 oz. NY strip. He said he has had better breakfast steaks at a diner. There was a lot of waste (fat & gristle). His baked potato was large and properly cooked. We were hoping for a good meal and were extremely disappointed.

Unfortunately we will never eat at Nicky's again. We had been going for years for great food and average prices. We went again this year for our anniversary and we're incredibly disappointed. The prime rib was dry and extremely salty, the menu has become "a la carte", an extra $11 for a side on top of the prime rib cost. Plus extra for salads. This is Estes Park CO not Aspen or Vail!

The service was excellent both the hostess and waiter. Cocktails seemed weak (watery Cosmo). We both had mashed potatoes and they were very different tasting but both lumpy and pasty. My trout was fishy :( Dessert was very nice. Service attentive and prompt. Nice view.
