You broke my heart.......Alfredo. Either that or was it that you broke my Alfredo sauce, Fredo. Well, regardless, this was probably the worst $106+ meal I have ever had and I'm not sure if it was the Alfredo on the edge of breaking, the broken pasta (no spoon or side of plate necessary), or the extremely strong baby shrimp (is this possible? Did you leave them out to ripen all day?), the strong chicken (there is no excuse for this). The bread was sub-par. The pizza crust was hard/chewy (as in stale) not crunchy/chewy like it used to be. On 03/29/24 you were having a bad night...and this is coming from a repeat customer. Don't be afredo to use more garlic, after all, this purports to be an Italian restaurant. If you're going to serve canned chicken in a broken pasta dish, just close down during the off-season and reopen for the tourists. Also, make sure and put salt in the seafood Alfredo. I could make everything better at home. The magic is gone. Sad. Tragic. There were other complaints this same night at other tables. I personally recommend not leaving tomato seeds in your red sauce and not to serve watery pasta. It's time to have some hard conversations.

What a homey experience at a family-owned business! We had the Especially Kaitlyn, the Chicken Alfredo Lasagna, and the Tiramisu and all dishes tasted wonderful and home-cooked. The server and the owner were also very kind and the menu has details on dietary restrictions. Highly recommend!

Great experience at this lovely pizza place where we ordered the Italiano pizza. One small comment is that the pizza was a bit too salty and it could go a bit less salt.

This restaurant came HIGHLY recommended and it did NOT disappoint! We shared the lasagne bianco and the tortellini ala panna. If you have room for dessert, get the turtle cheesecake!!

We had a wonderful time with our family of 6! Our waitress, Laurie, was super nice and always there to help. The food was also good and reasonably priced. Additionally, the other diners were friendly and talked to us about the kids. Will definitely return the next time we are in town.

This is by far the most incredible dining experience we had and is now our favorite restaurant in Estes Park. The dishes are exceptional and do not fall out of expectations. Authentically Italian! Everything is freshly made! The service was personable and our server who has been working there for many years knows the dishes to recommend and ensured us that our food allergies were not taken for granted. I HIGHLY recommend the Lasagna Bolognese! It’s simplistic but the play on flavors from the ricotta are a treat to the palette! I’ve been to Italy and this is how Lasagna is supposed to be! And the rolls!—OMG so nice and warm.. just so fluffy and packs some weight! It was to die for! Do not skip the desserts! The chocolate cake is so rich and satisfying. The chef owner is just a wonderful individual and has been so gracious to speak with us as we expressed our gratitude! Definitely a comforting place that we will keep coming back to!Dietary restrictions: Dairy, Seafood

The food and service were amazing. The owner, Raul, was so friendly and came to check on our party numerous times. Such a sweet little gem in a quaint mountain town. Highly recommend trying this when you visit, even for a date night :) All of the food is fresh, homemade, and accommodate guests with food allergies 10/10!!!!

Being a born & raised New Yorker, I've been to more than my fair share of amazing Italian eateries back east. The best ones are often NOT fancy, family-owned, sometimes rag-tagged in environment, but the food!!! Mamma-mia, now that's real Italian! This is every bit the case in point here with Sweet Basilico. Yes, the lights are too bright, the interior is tired, and it gets too crowded inside where there's no place to stand while you wait for your table. BUT the servers are friendly, the food is rustic, stick-to-your-bones in the best way possible, fare that your little Italian grandmother would crave. I love the classic Lasagna Bolognese! It's the first dish on the menu, and my one favorite examples of the dish I've ever had in my 30+ years here living in Colorado. It's legit! Great red sauce, bright, rich & sweet. Soft, yet firm noodles surround the delicious savory fillings... it's what all great lasagnes should be, and with enough sauce around the edges to enjoy with your big dinner roll.

Estes Park is one of our favorite close-by get always and Sweet Basilico is a great local restaurant where we eat often. The food is great and the prices have remained reasonable where everywhere else seems to have gotten outrageous. We were in-town on February 16th for a Friday night show at The Stanley. We got a table no problem and enjoyed the friendly service as usual. Recommended!

Delicious meatballs and loved the chicken Florentine. Waitress brought the wrong noodles ordered angel hair under my spinach and chicken. Should have had lemon on the plate.

The lasagna red sauce tastes like it came from a can, it was bland and sour.
