Very wide variety of items in the gift shop, spent probably 10 minutes just trying to pick out what magnet I wanted to buy as they were all really good. The cafe is expensive but it's understandable considering it's on top of a mountain, the staff here are very kind even when faced with a long line of shoppers which can be stressful, I had a nice conversation with the cafe cashiers too. The views are also fantastic and it's a nice stop along trail ridge.
It's good to have a store with Cafe at this scenic point. Sometimes it's quite windy and chilly outside and the warm store is a welcome stop. The only thing I want to comment on is the pricing of the merchandise. I find it high compared to the shops in Estes Park or the visitor centers. It's at the top of the ridge and you pay for.

It is the usual concession and store that one can find in these kind of places. Generally the people are nice and have a reasonable choice in variety of food and beverages present. Some of the employees were not very nice to say the least!
