Well I don’t often leave negative reviews. But I did come here all the way from TX so I feel obligated to share. First of all, they only have whole or oat milk. Secondly, the cashier was not very friendly or welcoming. Then, when she went to give me my coffee she said they don’t have straws. I’m all for saving the environment but I am on a road trip and it is easiest for me to drink my iced coffee with a straw vs risking spilling it all over myself while driving. I would say if this place is a representation of Colorado or Evergreen hospitality they are not doing a good job. Was going to give 3 stars if the coffee was at least good but I got my regular — iced cafe mocha — which is what I get at every coffee place. This one was bitter, not sweet at all, & I feel I would have been better off going to Starbucks.

I rode a motorcycle from Alaska to Utah in September last year, pointing my tires toward connection, trail riding, and some of the best coffee I’ve ever had. Rene was up long before dawn, brewing the smoothest and finest of blends. While it’s a known fact that every cup of coffee shared across a sunrise and bonfire with fellow riders is the cup you’ll ever drink, Bivouac Coffee really is something to carry home with you. I bought my favorites and enjoyed excellent brew for the next two months as I made my way back toward home. Take the long way home, always. Pack light and treat yourself to this coffee.

We ordered a sampler to try some different coffees and were pleasantly surprised by this company. We went on to order some larger bags after that sampler and plan to keep Bivouac in our regular coffee rotation.

Nice find in Evergreen and a cafe ambiance you'd expect to find in Denver. We got a hot chocolate and an oat milk latte after a frigid hike in Maxwell Falls. The menu is pretty small but what they serve, they serve to perfection.

I always order mochas because I prefer espresso over coffee. This is my second time here. The Mocha was strong as usual, with a lot of crema. The service comes with a lot of genuine gratitude and a smile. Nice green plush couches. The music was too loud for me. A woman was having a meeting on her laptop and could be heard from anywhere in the cafe. The lounge needed to be wiped down. Still a good place to retreat from Denver.
