The staff here are awful. Every time I come, I watch them goofing off in the kitchen, ignoring the order(s) put in front of them. It literally took them 9min to stop talking to each other and laughing to get around to making food, last time I was there. Also, they’ve given me the wrong thing several times. Had to produce receipts to get matter resolved. I’m over it… not going back.

We went in and asked to if it was OK to dine with our dog, the waitstaff said he'll go ask the Manager and came back out saying no. All this to say, there was a DOG DINING INSIDE the restaurant at the time and a few dog bowls on the floor. The waitstaff also didn't offer seating outside.What unbelievably discriminatory service.

Got my order wrong twice, put some clear chunky clear stuff in my burger as retaliation . Threw up. Just go to Comet next door. Tried to take advantage of my age and scam me as well. Im 14. Told me they didn't get order wrong and i had to show receipt.

Went today on my lunch break, my coworker recommended I go. I'm not going to lie the 60/40 was amazing, it was perfect. The fries were pretty good as well. Best thing is it was half the price of when I go to eat at the taco place, the sandwich place, or the Chinese restraunt. I will definitely be going back again..

My wife and I love Big Al's! Last night we got 2 60/40 burger and split an order of fries. The 60/40 burgers are where it's at and I feel like each time I have one, it's more bacon-y than I remember. We split a fry because there's too many for us ever to finish an order on our own. Also, our 2 year old daughter is a fan of the fries and when I went back to buy some milk for her, they just gave me a cup (they don't have milk readily available, but they were willing to help me out)! Speaking of 2 year old's, they also have a bunch of high chairs and booster seats, which I never thought I would have to consider when picking a restaurant, but apparently I do now. The place is small with more limited seating options, but we rarely have a problem getting a table, and they always feature local artists on the walls so the décor is different every time we come in, but it's clean, bright and comfy. So, would I recommend Big Al's to anyone who loves burgers? I already do.Parking: Big Al's is a 1 minute walk from the old town parking garage, which is free the first hour and then only $1 per hour after that.Kid-friendliness: High Chairs and booster seats that are easy to access, good amount of space, kid's menu. They gave me a cup of milk for free.

Then they slapped a piece of sliced cheese on the chili cheese fries. Again, so cold the cheese didn't even melt. I could pull it off in one piece. Who uses sliced cheese for chili cheese fries? The burger was mush like it wasn't cooked all the way (and I like my steak rare so that's saying something). Tried to eat the food because I don't like to waste food but I couldn't. Highly disappointed and doubt I'll give it a second try.

First time and I really like the place, food was really good, cajun fries were a little salty for my taste but other than that I enjoyed. I will definitely go back again.
Bad service. My parnter enjoys Big Al's. Which is the only reason I go. On numerous occasions when we get to go orders we often find that an order of fries is missing or both orders of fries gets less that half of the serving in the bag. Sometimes we even get 1 beef patty when we specifically order and pay for a double. I know burger flipping is not a life long career and most of the employees are at college, however one should take some initiative and do the job properly. How will these employees perform at jobs in their eventual chosen career if they cant provide quailty service at this basic job. Which also brings me to another point, perhaps the employees are not properly trained by management which indicates incompotence or apathy on behalf of managent/owner when it comes to training staff on serving customers and preparing meals. It seems that Big Al's is comfortable taking peoples money and providing sub-par service as well as sub-par quality. We will not be going back and would NOT recommend you waste your time or money at Big Al's.

Used to be good. 4-5 years ago burgers were well done but juicy, fry's were crisp.The "New Mexico" burger was a tasteless disappointment as expected. This fall (2023) no good. Burgers much smaller, over cooked and borderline dry. Way over salted borderline toxic. The bacon guacamole burger lacked both both bacon and guacamole. The fry's were good and crisp but way too salty. The 970 burger awful. Colorado green Chile burger. The "New Mexico" burger was tasteless but the burger itself was good. 970 burger nasty aside from the oversalted, overcooked small burger nasty acrid mustard that overwhelmed everything but a excessive oversalting. Could be good, should be good, hire someone that knows how to cook and if you have no clue about red or green Chile hire some one that does.
