Went to illegal Pete's tonight Tuesday 3-26-24 for my daughter's school Putnam elementary. illegal Pete's was giving 50% of the total purchase/bill,from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. to my daughter's school. We got there at 7:20 p.m. waited in line for about 50 minutes, it was very busy. By the time we paid for food it was around 8:10 or 8:15 and was no longer able to do the school event 50% $ towards my daughter's school, which is the reason we went in the first place. I asked the lady that was ringing us up if there's a way to fix it she said no and didn't even ask anybody else if it was possible to fix it or do anything to compensate or even say sorry about the issue, even though we were in the door/line 40 minutes before the deal ended. Also my son and daughter got Mexican Coke carnitas which ended up being very spicy and no where on the menu did it say that that item was spicy!Lastly about 10 minutes before we left, music started play, (pg-13 music) with cuss words in it. I did not like since my daughter is 8, it was mostly adults in the restaurant but there were a few other kids! Should have wait to play that music!Parking: Downtown parking

I don't normally go out of my way to write reviews unless a place is really bad or really good. Unfortunately this one isn't good. Customer service is so important in any business. I was served a barely lukewarm burrito which at first is no big deal, I thought. After a bite or two it was just unappetizing so I asked to have my burrito heated up which seems an easy fix. Just wrap it up and put it in a microwave or something. But instead I was told that they won't do that. The young lady offered to make a new burrito instead, which doesn't actually fix the problem. I don't want another cold burrito. They might want to check their food temperatures. I just want the burrito I had to be warm. She proceeded to tell me that my burrito should have been hot, as if to imply that I don't know what Im talking about. Yes, it should have been hot, but it wasn't, hence the reason I'm asking for it to be fixed. There was no type of care or concern for the issue. Anyways, I ended up not eating, it was a waste of time and money. I haven't seen such disappointing service in a long time.

This is in a fun area of town, has a cool atmosphere, and the workers were nice. Unfortunately, the food was pretty lousy. WAY too much rice in my burrito. What made it worse was the rice wasn't totally cooked and partially crunchy. The little meat in it wasn't even that warm. Caritas meat lacked flavor. Queso for the chips was grainy and for $7.50, not that big. The root beer from the fountain had no flavor. Best part was I had to wait 25 mins in line for this sub-par meal. I expected this to be better than chains like Qdoba, but honestly, I've had better experiences there.

Have always loved Illegal Pete’s in Denver and seen high volume in multiple Denver locations but Fort Collins, a mess. The employees, didn’t do terrible after a 40 minute wait but there was no leadership to help support the staff. Blind leading the blind with no support. I know there’s better.

The food is great. The staff is mostly friendly and helpful. One of the workers was slightly rude but they were slammed so I didn't hold it against them. I will definitely be going back.

The people working at 730pm on Jan 22 are heroes of the burrito world. Everything was cooked perfectly, service absolutely fantastic, and the food is tastier than anything I've had in years. Glorious!

The food is all right I mostly go here just because it's close to my work and I need something quick and easy. One thing that frustrates me so much is every single time I go there they're out of Dr Pepper. Like it's actually a joke at this point. haha, I pay $5 for a drink, and then can't even get what I wanted because they're literally always out. You would think they would just buy extra or something I don't understand. I know it's not a big deal, but like do your job and change it
