This is my absolute favorite place to stock my spice rack! Excellent high quality products and very reasonable prices. Bonus: I can always find the ingredients I need for my hobby of recreating medieval recipes!!Even though I'm moving to another state, I'll be ordering online to keep stocked up! My only regret is that I won't be able to go in and chat with the amazing staff. They are always a delight!

Old Town Spice Shop is my little piece of aromatic heaven on earth. Yet another place I discovered even before I moved here, I'm a regular since I go through the spices so quickly. Recently, I went shopping for Christmas gifts for the husband's side of the family and saw that they're pre-packaging gift box sets of different spices (my personal favorite is the beer and bacon set). They have "Movie Night" gift boxes which include a pre-selected set of their popcorn seasonings, which I wanted to get, but was feeling picky, so I decided to design my own to suit each individual I was ordering for. They provided the boxes and I just filled them with whatever struck my fancy. Birthday Cake for the little ones, Cheddar Bacon for most of the adults, Bacon Salt for the vegan (they use soy-based protein for this salt, similar to what Bacon Bits uses), Pizza seasoning for the aunt and uncle... The possibilities are endless! It can get a little expensive, depending on what you select, but that's what I love about being able to build your own set, and I love the fact that they're not a chain, local and family-owned, which makes me even more eager to put my money there and keep them around. Now the only thing I need them to do for me is bring back the wasabi ranch that disappeared from the shelves a few years ago! I will give all the money for that seasoning, even though I've found some great alternatives in the shop.
