Consistent tasting bbq in FoCo. The service is usually congenial, but every once in a while you get someone who's short with you. The bbq is more like what I've eaten in Colorado, not Texas. The brisket has tender bites near the fat, but the rest of the meat is tougher to chew. Same goes for the pork. The smoked turkey is really good. I also recommend the loaded baked potato or Texas Taco. Overall, Serious Texas BBQ hits the spot but is not anything like the bbq in Texas where smoking meat is a competitive sport!Parking: EasyKid-friendliness: Very kid friendly.

Being from Texas myself, I have a right to critique BBQ and I can say that Serious Texas BBQ stands true to its name!My last visit included the best sliced brisket sandwich that I can remember. Served with a buttery bun and fresh onion and pickles. The brisket was the most tender that I have ever had and tasted fantastic! Also, if you are picky about pinto beans with your Texas BBQ, then take heart because these are also done right, The Serious Texas way!

I'm from Texas and I was very disappointed with the brisket sandwich I got. Only ate half of it and gave the rest to my dogs. They liked it. And to top it off the price was way too much. For those who want the best BBQ go to Les' Bar B Que in Wellington.

I used to like this place for the first few years since it opened but now the quality of food and service are going way down. I guess that’s what happens when you let kids run the shop. I was actually looking to give the owners my feedback directly but they don’t have a contact link on their website ??‍♂️

The food is usually always good. It's our favorite BBQ. We love their wings on Tuesdays. They are available after 5. Service is typically very good however this time they forgot a side item which cost $3 so we were out that. We gauge other BBQ places by Serious Texas, and they usually come out on top both in quality and value.

We were driving and noticed this place. We decided to give it a try since we were looking for a place to eat anyway. Upon entry, it felt like a pretty cool place. The prices seemed reasonable (especially for bbq), so we ordered. We fed our family of 5 for about $110 with beverages. The food was ready right as I paid, and we sat down to eat. It's good to point out that this location doesn't have seating for large groups to sit together (just and fyi). Most of the tables only allowed for 4 people. Regardless, we pulled up an extra chair and went to town. The food was warm, but it was pretty dry. I'm not a big sauce fan because if a protein is cooled right, it will provide its own special flavors. Anyway, the ribs, pulled pork, chicken, and sausage were dry. I also had an order or cheese potatoes, and they should he called pepper potatoes instead. Now, I'm not bashing the place. It wasn't terrible, we ate our food, and it was pleasant.

Best BBQ turkey sandwich in town. BBQ sauce is thin and nothing special. Very good value.Wheelchair accessibility: Good if you can manage the door.

If you want to know what Texas barbecue isn't about, this is the place to go. There was nothing serious about the food at this place. I'm from Texas and this place should be ashamed. Flat out terrible. Also, that runny bbq sauce isn't from Texas either.

Being from Texas and Trying to go for some comfort BBQ was a big Mistake! This place was not it. BBQ is Definitely not Texas Style and please don't get me started on the Sweet Tea.
