It is now a lesson for me to ask first. If you are not into spicy food, tell them not to put everything on it, especially the chili or whatever that makes it spicy. I was craving for ramen on a snowy afternoon and I couldn’t enjoy my ramen because it was too spicy for me. Next time I’ll tell them not to make my ramen spicy.

The thing I really appreciated about this Tokyo Joes was how welcoming they were. Being right across the street from a hospital they gave a very warm reception to us and showed they truly cared about the customers. Please give them a try and know you're going to a very supportive, amazing place.

EDITED 8/15/23I am editing my original 5 star review from 5 years ago to 2 stars. This place has been declining recently which as disappointing as this was our favorite. We just had dinner and the service was slow, food was just decent, and my order of Jalapeno Ahi tools were missing sauce and jalapenos. The were also messy and very thin. The lemonade drink was out like last time and so was soda. The edamame had a burnt smell and cucumber mixed in. This is a tough one especially since I gave them a chance after I fixed their mistake. I I order a lot of food for lunch daily. I use these guys all the time. Today I had a $300.00+ order. They delivered the food on time, but forgot a GF item. I get it. Mistakes happen. But, you make it right when they do. We were straight up told they would not deliver the missing item. Told us we could pick it up later. I was not very happy that I had to leave my appointment at noon to drive 30 mins round trip to pick up this order.I called and they made up the missing bowl, but I missed 30 minutes of an appointment that is very hard to get and I only have a short amount of time with my customer. Luckily, they were running late, but that could have cost me the entire price of the meal. The Gluten Free item was for the most important customer.My issue is not that they forgot the order or even that they couldn’t deliver at noon. My issue is they didn’t even offer to make it right. They could have offered to take it over later, offer something. Basically, “to bad” is not what you should hear.When I left at 12:02 instead of talking to my customer I was driving during the prime time for my appointment. They asked “how can we make this up to you”. I said, here’s my phone number. Have your manager give me a call. No call. When I picked it up they said “ We’ve got your name and number tell us next time you’re here and we’ll give you a free bowl. Great way to lose a solid customer that buys a lot of food from you. I’m not hard to please, but come on guys.I’d love a call from the GM as requested. If you still have my number. I’d appreciate a call. I’ll revise this if you honor my request. Until then, I won’t be ordering TJ’s. Sorry.

staff with no personality, delivered my food, and I said thanks and he, ignored me. Ice cold rice on top of that. what happened Larry?? I remember how great this was when he opened his first store in Denver. It shows to, back in the day there was lines out the door now it's never busy .............
