Food was very dry. Chicken was cut in cubes and put on bun very hard to eat. Owner contacted me and told me I would get a refund. Never received it. He lied!!!

i’ve gone to this restaurant multiple times and every time i do i get messed up food. my meet is dry and if i go in the mornings it is cold. the sides are always falling into my food and when i finally sit down and eat the breads all mushy from my sides. another time i ordered a full side of coleslaw and they said they had it, they came back to me and told me they were out of coleslaw. i asked for my money back and they decided to tell me they didn’t have the change to give me my money back when i had just paid. another time i had got my food and went to eat it and the entire plate was cold. another thing every time i come into colorado smokehouse there is a little girl there and she is all over us customers. she constantly is yelling and we can’t even hear the employees. the employees all look so high and cracked out that i can’t even get my order through without having to repeat it over and over again.

My hubby just ordered the rib plate with a side of brisket. Complete waste of money.. the brisket was very dry and the ribs were gross. Nice people/ service but Hell No!!Looks like we will be sticking with The Chuckwagon!

The food was not good especially for the price. I had pulled pork it was dry and wasn’t given enough bbq sauce either. Potato salad was ok. My boyfriend got brisket, Mac and cheese, and cornbread. He said the meat was dry cornbread very dry not much taste plus the mac and cheese was just gross.

This place used to be AMAZING. but consistency isn’t there anymore. And portions are significantly smaller with higher prices. Disappointing and this last time the person verbally confirmed the food when handing it over but the food was wrong. Won’t be making the drive from Pueblo anymore.

We are new to the area and we tried Colorado Smokehouse for the first time this evening. It was amazing!! We ordered the brisket and the greens with a black berry cobbler. The brisket melted in our mouths! Phenomenal, we will be back often. Thanks for the great experience ☺️

I'm from Texas and I miss bbq from back home. I found this place on a Google search and OMG everything I ordered was absolutely delicious! Staff was kind and professional as well. Only problem i had was I ordered 2 plates one with mac and corn the other, Mac and beans. When I got home both plates had beans. Not a big deal but my husband really wanted corn. He was definitely ok with the beans because they were so delicious! I also wanted a sausage link but I noticed on the receipt i was charged with a sausage sandwich. I went back in and inquired about it and he said they just charge it that way. So I was expecting a link in a sandwich. I was kinda disappointed paying 8.45 cents for just a link with no bread However after tasting the food I didn't care but I still feel just a link should cost a little less than 8.45 if its not a sandwich back home at the place I love just an added link cost 5 bucks. Its like a paid for a whole other meal that I didn't get. Oh and the sauces are AMAZING!!! Corn bread and The Butterso dang good!!! Definitely will be ordering from here again. If you love mac and cheese you'll love it here!!!

The brisket was extremely fatty. Between the brisket, pulled pork, potato salad and bbq beans, I cannot for the life of me find any redeeming qualities for the food. There was no flavor in any of the items minus the bbq beans which were wayyyy tooo sweet, everything else was bland and/or fatty. I am truly disappointed.

First visit to the Colorado Smokehouse and I wasn’t disappointed. Chose 3 meats and 2 sides option. Meats: chopped brisket, burnt ends, and hot links. Some of the best brisket I’ve eaten, tender, smoky, juicy, and great bark. Sides: smoked beans and macaroni and cheese. Sides were homemade and delicious. Great flavors. Sweet bbq sauce was fine too. I’ll be back for more brisket in the near future. Friendly and polite staff.

We usually love going here but this time was lack there of. We ordered the three meats platter which they were out of burned ends so we got two chickens for our two meats and brisket with four cornbread’s. We took our ordered checked in the car, they gave us one cornbread. I also asked if this was three meats as last time the three meats had much more. The guy said yes which was very different from our past four experiences here. This was $40.00. We will not be coming back as this was no where the same amount of the three meat platter as numerous times before.
