Looks like it closed permanently. I had eaten here earlier in the year. There appears to be a location in town.

Just moved here from Hawaii. Got a work event tomorrow to hail me in so I figure I'll bring in some musabi's to show some island culture. Looked up musabi places and this was the closest to my house. Boy I'm glad I went there in person and tried out the musabi before ordering a whole tray. It tasted like it's been in the fridge for days and they just threw it in the microwave. I also got the Angry plate and by far the worst bbq plate I've had. I hope ppl don't think that this is how island food is. Far from it. I hope the restaurant improves but until then I'm good.

Well I can at least say that you know all the other restaurants have been there. I waited almost 8 minutes before I started calling out to find someone to serve me. When they did take my order I don't understand what was wrong but the young lady could not get tater tots out of her mind even though I kept asking for potato salad. I got my food with tater tots I left those behind, I ordered the bacon fried rice and the ohana plate. So the panko chicken was okay as long as I ate it immediately otherwise it got dryer along the way. The other meat was burnt so I'm not too sure if that was supposed to be another thing of chicken maybe teriyaki I don't know it was grill burnt, but the pork was good. The bacon fried rice if it wasn't for the bacon bits in it I would have known it was bacon fried rice I just could not taste the bacon flavoring. At first I thought this place was similar to the one I visited in Killeen Texas. Now I am hoping it's not and that they're not associated in any way shape or form with that family down there. I can just say that I was completely disappointed for my first time in and I will not be revisiting.

This place seems like it's on the verge of closing for good. The list of things they were out of was almost as long as the menu itself. No beer, kalbi ribs, poke, kimchi, etc. Only 2 employees in the building during prime lunch hours. They told me my order would take 5 minutes when I placed it, then after waiting 25 minutes they came out and told me my ticket never printed and had to take my order again. Then after waiting another 15 minutes they gave me an order that was totally wrong - instead of rice and Mac salad on one plate they gave me double rice, and on the other plate they gave me just chicken instead of the chicken and beef combo I ordered. The chicken was burned black and at least half of it was inedible. The beef at least was good, tasty marinade and decently tender. I just wish everything else was at least somewhat decent. As it stands, I will not be returning.

Been visiting the area for about a month. Try new places. This sounded good. I was wrong. Everything was over cooked. Shrimp rubbery, fried rice had burnt pcs and was darkened from the burnt pcs. Tater tots had to be chewed with a little force. The chicken was still over done but was close to edible. Will not be back.

Do not waste your time. My family and I were super excited to try this place and it was a total disappointment. The Chicken Katsu had only patches of breading on it and what was left of it was so burnt. You can tell the oil needs to be changed and not like Day old oil but like weeks old. The chicken just tasted like burnt panko, it did not have any other flavor whatsoever. The macaroni salad and rice was not good either. My son got an order of French fries and they looked so saturated in oil that they just looked so unappetizing. We tried just eating through it but it was just so gross that we threw away all the food about five minutes after it was brought to us and I didn't get a picture.

Obviously a cantina converted to Hawaiian food restaurant yet still looks out of place. So many things wrong here, don't know where to start. 1) Online menu different from counter order menu (Tip: stick up a few menus along the wall so people don't have to wait to get all the way to front to decide what to order, esp when there's a line). 2) Pay extra to have rice as a side, which came out dry as hell. All my toddler eats is rice and even he refused to eat it. How can you get rice wrong??? 3) Kalbi is a thick cut but you have to rip that out like biting into the cow itself 4) Chicken Katsu is crispy but hard and dry (try eating that with dry rice...). 5) No spam musubi - WTH? That's like Hawaiian staple! 6) Fries and tater tots were warm and semi-crispy. Only decent taste was Teriyaki beef (which the Kalbi should taste like) and BBQ chicken, which was surprisingly juicy and tender (although it lacks the bbq flavor and more so like charred grilled chicken). Best part of the meal? Kim chi ‍

Lots of seating with tv showing sports. In one corner a tv with MSNBC on which made us very happy! the macaroni salad is quite good. There a few offerings for vegetarian. Friendly environment. Good menu with memories of Hawaii!

Great food and atmosphere. The food reminded us of when we lived on Oahu. We had the garlic shrimp plate, 3 meat plate, and a kids chicken tenders. And the staff was friendly. We’ll be back.

Only my 2nd review and it's been 2 years since I left my 1st one , will never order from here again , felt like we got the days leftovers or stuff they were about to throw away if that, ordered the kaliba short ribs but got the Teri beef instead that was chewy and undercooked and unable to eat half of it also was slimy and greasy, wife ordered a Ohana plate which was missing the katsu pork and cabbage, the bacon rice was over cooked and tasted like it came out the bottom of a burnt pan , ordered a extra side of macaroni salad, tasted to weird we had to throw it away and me and my wife love macaroni salad, we should have just ordered from L and L Hawaiian BBQ , waste of money and one of the worst meals I've had in a long time!

Flew into Colorado Springs right before lunch and Hangry Ohana caught our eye! Great service - we were checked on a few times and the staff were really nice. Ordered the noodle dish and my husband ordered the Loco Moco. The portions were generous and it was delicious! Really flavourful and would definitely visit again during our trip.

Great food! Better then most Hawaiian food places I've been too aside from the islands themselves

The Terri beef plate with two sides was amazing. I receive plenty of beef strips cooked perfectly, juicy and very tasteful. I ordered two sides, tater tot's and bacon fried rice. They were also amazing. They came out hot and in appropriate time. This is a little hole in the wall that's bigger than it looks. I would highly recommend going there for a bite to eat. I was there for lunch and as I was finishing up it got busy. Try it you'll like it. Thank you for bringing a type of food not usually seen here in Colorado Springs/fountain Colorado.

If you like the taste of salt and vinegar then you'll like this place. As for myself the food was overly salty and/or overly vinegary.I had their short rips and bacon fried rice and was incredibly disappointed by both. Whatever marinade/sauce they use on their short ribs should not be considered "Hawaiian" in the least bit. The vinegar used must have been plain white vinegar and overpowered any other flavors. The meat was rubbery and chewy.Their bacon fried rice was "ok" for the first few bites but after that the amount of saltiness had me drinking one glass of water after the next. And I can't even begin the describe the abomination that they call "macaroni salad" but it was one of the worst "Hawaiian" style ones I've ever had. It was overly peppery and a failed attempt at being savory. The front counter staff was very friendly and nice. The cooking staff should be wearing proper health code required items such as hairnets and gloves.

Excellent food and very courteous staff! The ribs are amazing and fall off the bones, get it with the bacon fried rice.
