Nice guy at bar. Other than that, food was nasty.It’s basically order your food and pick up at a window…. And they have a sign on the bar saying if that if you don’t close out your tab, they will automatically add 20%…….then…..good luck getting your bill! They are hoping you just walk out. I did tip 20% anyway….but really should not have!

We really wanted to like this place.We have good memories of coming to this location when it was owned by Backcountry Brewing.We were excited to see a new brewery has opened here.The beer selection is decent, with a handful of dark beer which we like. But both beers were just kinda "meh".The BBQ was a disappointment. The ribs were undercooked and not very tender, though the flavor was good. The brisket was dry and also tough, And not a lot of flavor. The major letdown though was the green chile cornbread. It was super dry, no flavor, no green chile, and served with fake butter instead of real butter. We tried feeding some of it to our dogs and our dog didn't even want to eat it.Also, we were disappointed they don't serve platters anymore. You have to order everything ala-carte, so you end up paying more.

The food was absolutely amazing! The pulled pork sandwich is one of the best i have had.A seasonal beer that they have called winter stoke is one of my favorites.They have a wide range of options rotating on draft.Stellar staff.

Friendly and knowledgeable team at Highside. I love talking to beer lovers, and this group will not disappoint. I am really feeling the Trip Leader IPA and was excited to learn that the head brewer has taken this IPA to new heights.

Very comfortable seating area & very spread out, so it is easy to move around. The staff was good, the beer was average. There are better local breweries from a quality perspective. I enjoyed seeing a pale lager & kölsch on the menu. To have 3 milk stouts & another imperial milk stout seems unnecessary. A dry & roasty stout would have been great to see, especially in the midst of a blizzard. The Ginger Cranberry sour was a big standout. The food & bbq smelled great, but we had just eaten. Overall, I would visit again if I didn't feel like driving somewhere else, but for the beer nerds out there, I wouldn't consider this a "must visit."

Wow! Amazing tasty barbecue (pulled pork sandwich with potato salad and Gouda Mac & Cheese)! Extensive beer choices sure to please any and all preferences - love the Senior Guide IPA and Mount Royal Red! And phenomenal customer service by Sawyer - such a nice guy! Love this place, love the vibe and love the pups!

This place is fun! I would suggest garbages in the women’s stalls for disposal of feminine products AND the food came out cold…no one wants a cold taco … come on ??♀️
