We’ve been coming any time we are in Frisco since 2019. The food is amazing as is the service. The owner truly cares that you have a good experience and it shows. Mixed drinks are super delicious and unique. Highly recommend it won’t disappoint.

I can’t say enough positive things about this restaurant. Our server was Becky, and she was maybe my favorite waitress that I’ve ever had. Everything she recommended was amazing (wine, apps, desserts), and she had the best personality; she was fun and informative, without being pushy or obtrusive.Highly recommend the pork belly, the beet salad, and the bolognese. The bolognese came with house-made pappardelle (IYKYK), and was fabulous. The elk medallions were amazing with the Zinfandel. The wine selection is curated with care, and it’s hard to go wrong with whatever you choose. The Vietnamese coffee cake with the coffee ice cream was a perfect cap on the evening, but the evening was already perfect. The moody/ fancy mountain ambiance is also great (we got to sit next to the fireplace), with nice views outside. We would be regulars here if we weren’t out-of-towners. Do yourself a favor and “treat-yo-self” to a dinner at Tavern West. You can’t go wrong.

I will start with the fact that I have never felt compelled to post a negative review, nor have I ever had to do so prior. We were super disappointed in the overall experience, service, and food. Initially, our server neglected to share what dishes they were out of until we ordered. We then had to ask what else they were out of, which included two other items, due to the person failing to offer this information yet again. The item we planned on ordering was out and it was only 7:45 PM. The server was also extremely inattentive and rude (They passed by our table three times after the food was served by a different server, without checking in. Then, the server proceeded to openly retake a shot at the bar with other servers before checking in. I served tables for several years in college and this is extremely unprofessional behavior, especially in a “fine dining” establishment.). Once we received our food, it was cold and there was a film on the sauce (indicating the server had let it sit on the counter far too long). The steak tri tip was also very chewy (could barely cut through it) and low quality for the price. While the quality of food was not exceptional, the most disappointing part surrounded the service and their apparent lack of care/concern for their customers and job overall. This was a birthday celebration for my mom who is visiting, so this was just a major letdown. I would never return to this establishment and would highly recommend you avoid doing so as well.

I wish my experience was as good as others. We went on a Friday night. The greet time was long/slow. Ricotta was a little dry. Tomato soup tasted out of a can. The cod was inedible, literally. The mixed drink had more mix than drink. On the bright side, the asparagus was very tasty.

Really tasty veggie option - was a little hot for my gentle East Coast palate but very good. They seated us without a reservation and our server was super friendly and very helpful. Would definitely come back.Vegetarian options: Most of the restaurants in colorado feature meat but they had some good options for us.

An absolute must-do if hitting the slopes. The food is divine (Ribeye so fly ?) and ambience of dining room is light, conversational and engaging. Worth the 15 minute drive from wherever you might be staying if not already in Frisco.

We stop here on the way out of town every time we ski Breck. The happy hour menu is the absolute best around. All of the food is good, but I tend to order the Kobe burger most of the time. I only wish they opened just a little earlier. We end up waiting in the parking lot for them to open most of the time. Highly recommended!
