We came here for breakfast and they were short staffed but Sam was very attentive and we didn’t feel rushed. The burrito was amazing and the menu was fairly

The environment is incredible, it feels like a trip back in time. The service is ok, nothing special. We ordered a penne bolognese that looked like an industrialized tomato sauce with cream. It was delicious, but from a distance it looked like a delicious Italian Bolognese sauce. The orange juice was industrialized and by far the best... they need to improve!! There are good industrialized juices that are closer to the flavor of natural ones.Avalanche beer is wonderful!!!

So nice, we ate here twice! Great burger and fries, also tasty penne bolognese. Kipp was excellent--attentive, kind, and knowledgeable. Highly recommend!

My partner and I were staying at the hotel CO for a small getaway from Denver for Valentine's day. Went to dinner here because the reviews were so high. I wouldn't waste your time or money on this place. It's extremely underwhelming, except for the bill at the end of the meal. Ordered a $36 trout and got a 6oz filled that looked like it came from the frozen section of Costco. We walked in and it was empty, should have known then and there to turn around. Service was fine, just don't think the quality was worth that price. Very mediocre.

Wow...What a great dining experience! Cate was so wonderful and helped us through the menu in determining what to order. She was so thoughtful and was the perfect hospitality hostess . Kipp In the bar was fantastic as well. We had perfectly crafted drinks even though it was a crowded Superbowl night. We highly recommend this venue, what a great night!

I hate leaving this review as this hotel is amazingly beautiful with such a great history.Came for lunch with a party of 8 to celebrate a milestone birthday. The restaurant is supposed to open at 11:30 for lunch, actually opened at 11:50 but never announced it was open or moved the sign blocking the entrance to indicate it was open. *I had notified them of our party about 11:15 so they could prepare.Once seated it took a solid 15 minutes for our drink orders to be taken. We asked for some bread and butter at that time - which showed up 10 minutes later (10 minutes before our drinks) but without any plates so everyone just stared at the bread waiting for something to place it on. After asking for plates twice they finally showed up (1 plate short) and we were finally able to place our food order. After placing our orders the menus weren't removed so we ate our entire lunch with a huge stack of menus at our table. There were no follow ups with us as we ate to ask about the food or anything else we may need. For a $350+ lunch for 8 at a historic hotel in a restaurant that is supposed to be the best in town -- and being only 1 of 2 tables seated in the whole place -- I would have expected something resembling regular restaurant service. What we received was terrible. The food wasn't much better. The cuban sandwich was super dry and not grilled/pressed. The Flatbread was comparable to what you'd get at a sports bar (bland and plain.) The steak sandwich was good and the only selection that had a favorable review.*Important to note that there are no vegetarian substitutions available here either. At close to $50 a plate for lunch you would think there would be at least one or two options for a vegetarian outside of a side salad........The atmosphere is fantastic and we had a great time because it was family being together for a special day while staying the weekend but this was a terribly underwhelming experience and one I can not recommend to anyone.

The food and service are fine, but we had the weirdest thing happen here. It was Christmas eve, and shortly after we sat down, while our waiter was taking our drink orders, the manager (long beard, lady gaga hat) walked over to our waiter and while motioning to our table said, "we're covering this table tonight" or something similar that suggested they were taking care of our tab. This was unexpected and confusing, definitely nothing we expected. We proceeded to order our food and a couple of drinks, and at the end of the meal, the waiter brought the full check. When I asked what the manager was talking about, the waiter simply said "oh yeah, that was a mistake. It was a different table actually."Now I'm not someone who is coming in looking for a free meal at all. I fully expect to pay for what I order. And I also know that mistakes happen. But, just say something when you realize it's a mistake. In fact, next time, have these conversations away from the customer. It was a very bizarre experience and could have been cleared up immediately with a little bit of communication. Again, we don't expect anything, but we do expect to not be jerked around.

Very very disappointed with the quality of service. Bartenders are slow and inconsistent. Incapable of keeping track of food orders and have zero people skills. 1.4 Hours for a steak? Will not be back.

10/10 Recommend The food and service were great. I got the penne bolognese and my mom got the burger; both were well priced and sooo yummy. The peach cobbler was to die for. Our server was so nice and helpful. I'll definitely be back next time I'm in Glenwood.

Had a lovely experience here! The service was WONDERFUL. The food super good as well. Green chili, omelet, and Benedict’s great. Great cappuccino too. Small (think Italy) so order a double. The only thing that wasn’t great was the buffalo hash. The buffalo was super tough and flavorless. All else was great! Cozy little dining room.

Raw undercooked food for a high price! We had a large company Christmas party at Hotel CO restaurant and multiple employees ended up with diarrhea after being served undercooked food. Plates were sent back to be cooked longer and we were given back the wrong food. Servers tried their best but seemed like it was a hassle to care for us even though we booked this large reservation well in advance. One employee asked for a vegetarian option and she was treated rudely for even asking. We will not being going back anymore, the service and food has gone down hill.
