We are very sorry for having arrived at this place, the service was horrible, the waitress looked at us as if we stink. For the first time, my family and I experienced being treated with racism and it is sad because thanks to us businesses can provide work. I hope they improve their services and train their staff well to treat customers kindly.

Recommended by a local friend, I tried the Japanese curry with chicken katsu, and it's delightful. However, I wish they provided more curry instead of just having chicken topped with curry sauce. Overall, it's awesome; the chef and the lady server are both pleasant. I'll certainly come back!

We (my partner and I), and a number of locals we know, call this "the gas station sushi place" and while that doesn't do much for word of mouth appeal this little spot is really a gem! Off the beaten path from central, walkable Glenwood, it tends to attract more valley residents who've discovered it's existence on their travels through town.Sushi is decent, place is almost never busy, and we are especially big fans of Connie, who is always so friendly and kind and remembered us immediately after our first visit. It's definitely a regular spot for us when we are craving sushi but don't want to drop 100$+ at Kedai.

May seem weird to go to a sushi restaurant right next to a gas station, but the sushi is anything but gas station sushi! Everything is very good, highly recommend the sunset roll. The drinks are amazing (we loved the ginger pear martinis) but more importantly is how friendly our waitress was. This is a family-run business, so we are happy to give our support to them. I promise you won't be disappointed!

I recently dined at Kanpai Sushi and Bar in Glenwood Springs, hoping for a pleasant experience. Unfortunately, the restaurant had only one overwhelmed server, leading to chaotic service. Our food arrived out of order, and some dishes were forgotten. While the food was decent, the subpar service significantly impacted our dining experience. Regrettably, the poor service overshadowed the food's quality. Waiting extensively and dealing with an overworked and unfriendly waiter left a negative impression. I won't be returning in the future. I hope Kanpai Sushi and Bar addresses their staffing issues to improve customer experiences. Based on my visit, I cannot recommend this restaurant to others
