This place is so clean and the food is AMAZING. Get the steak or prime rib it is to die for. We will be returning time and time again because of the food and also the ridiculously kind staff. Our server was VERY attentive and every server made us feel welcomed. 10/10 recommended

This place was delicious! The best appetizer was the elk potstickers, they are the bomb. They had a prime rib special which was very good. Great outdoor seating location as well which added to the ambiance. Watching the river and the mountains was part of the experience! Very lovely restaurant, you can tell the staff care.

I live close by and I have to say if you want a great meal then this is not your place. If you want to have a drink and sit outside by the river then it's absolutely perfect. I've eaten there a half dozen times over the past few years and seriously do not understand the glowing food reviews here. It must be the same folks who think The Village Inn is great! I can only describe their food as it being totally in keeping with their dated 90's decor. Overcooked food, weird sauces, and basic at best. More than once I have sent food back to the kitchen. They bill themselves as fine dining but past the white linens, it comes off a bit like the joke is on you for believing them. Anytime I've ordered anything more than cocktails I felt like I wasted some or all of my money. Overall, it's edible but I prepare better food at home on a Tuesday, so I have often left there feeling rooked.  After our last visit my son said, "Mom. Let's just not go there anymore. Something we get is always bad." Sadly, he's right. There's way better food in this valley, so from then on we all decided Rivers is not worth the trouble.

picturesque setting outside on the porch overlooking the river, food was superb and our waiter, Travis, was excellent. He was a lot of fun and very attentive. They even let our little dog stay on the porch with us. We’ll definitely return when in the area.

We were visiting for the weekend and stumbled upon this gem for an early dinner before heading to Iron Mountain Thermal Pools. We arrived at 4:00 and were able to sit on the patio with a gorgeous river view! We were greeted so professionally by Hikim our waiter. He was beyond graceful, humble and so attentive. We ordered drinks and enjoyed the best mojitos we've ever had! We ordered appetizers first, the Elk and wild mushrooms potstickers and fried calamari. Both were incredible-and cooked to perfection! I ordered the salmon and my friend ordered the fish and chips. We again were amazed at the taste and quality of the food. All were brought to us at a timely manner. It was my birthday and we didn't ask for anything but mentioned it as he asked the occasion for our out if town visit. He brought their amazing Decedent Fudge cake with fresh whipped cream and It literally melted in my mouth! I should have ordered another slice for later! Lol We were lucky to see a Bald Eagle do a low fly by along the river which was so amazing to see in the wild. All in all we were pleasantly pleased with the Rivers and cant wait to visit again! Top notch service all around!

We stumbled upon this gem. It was nice to eat at a restaurant the locals enjoy, instead of all the touristy places downtown. The ambiance was perfect, as was Akeem, our waiter. The prime rib and salmon were cooked to perfection. We couldn’t have asked for a better dining experience.
