They do a lot of online orders, so even of you get there when it is totally empty and there is no line it can take 20min for a breakfast bagel. About a dozen online order people will come and go. You will get the bagel though, just eventually. It isn't the quick stop it used to be.

I suppose they were off to a rough start from the moment they decided to name it Big Daddy's. Although, it does capture the uninspired nature of the restaurant overall - Mediocre food with a classic rock soundtrack.I wanted to like this place because I live so close, but it is pretty underwhelming. Part of it is because it is so easy to make a good bagle sandwich at home, and you don't have to worry about them messing up your order. I have been here on many occasions, and they almost always mess something up. They tend to leave off ingredients altogether. Other times, they put so much cream cheese that it takes over the entire bagle/burrito.It is fine, and if you are desperate, it will be better than fast food. However, if you are looking for a quality experience, I just can't recommend the place.

I have always loved Big Daddy's! I have been coming here for many years and it's about time that I leave a review. The bagels are made fresh every day and man, they are the best bagels. Fluffy in the middle and perfectly toasted on the outside (I always get mine toasted). The food is always fresh, fast and made just as asked. The pizza is amazing too. Thin but large! My favorite pizza is simple, extra cheese, onions, and green bell peppers. Yumm! Speaking of pizza, this is the best pregnancy craving cure too!Everyone is always so polite. The faces seem to change but no matter who it, they greet you with a smile. And Thea is absolutely amazing! Friendly, keeping people on their toes, and making sure that everyone is taken care of.The atmosphere here is always relaxing, clean and fun. Have you seen the Art on the walls lately? They are a joy to look at while enjoying a loaded bagel or a huge slice!Seriously love this place and can't wait to come in again soon! Thank you Big Daddy's and thank you Thea. You are all awesome!

One of the best bagels I've had in Colorado. The outside was crispy, inside was soft and not super dense. Good breakfast sandwich, excellent friendly staff, nice drink options. I really enjoyed the local art for sale on the walls. I'm from NY and am still waiting for egg everything bagels to make it out to Colorado and see a case of fun assorted cream cheeses but as far as local Colorado bagel culture, I'd drive out of my way to come here. Far better than most others I've tried in CO.
I actually visited Big Daddy's Rustic Pizza which is the same company. I honestly must say - one of the best pizzas in Colorado. Superb!!! A true nust!!

We live down the street from this place, and have ordered food here many times over the last 8 years. Have had a horrible experience almost every time the past couple of years, so after we have emailed the owners a couple times with no response I'm going ahead with a review.This place makes bagels and in the afternoon/evenings they make pizza too. They have online ordering, so we use that when ordering slices and whole pizzas for takeout. They give you a pickup time, and every time we've gone to pick up our order well after the pickup time (because we know how they operate), they haven't even started it yet. We've waited almost 30 minutes PAST the pickup time for two slices of pizza. And if we order a whole pizza, it's been even longer. This has happened almost every time for the past two years. Don't take online orders if you can't handle it. Or don't make pizzas and stick to bagels if you can't handle it.On top of this, the service is abhorrent. There is no system, it's a always a chaotic scene of people trying to pickup orders, waiting to order, etc. Most of the staff seems like couldn't care less about helping customers, I've stood at the register for a long time before anyone comes to help. The woman who I think is the front of house manager is one of the rudest people there. For example, on my last visit to pick up slices, (again, I came a good 15 min past my pickup time) she said rudely "if it's not out there it's not ready" and walked away without even checking, then proceeded to go outside and mess with some trash. All the while I could see my pizza box on top of the pizza oven, but no one came back to the register for almost 15 more minutes, so when someone finally gave me my box the pizza was totally cold. Again. Just like usual.Glad Blue Pan has recently opened in Golden, so we can get quality pizza with good service - done giving Big Daddy our business.
