First impression through the door is a cozy tavern feel with a cool stained glass bar back and a view into the kitchen. The drinks are served in Mason jars and there's plenty of wood and iron making a comfortable and inviting atmosphere.The staff was excellent and everyone but the bartender made a visit to check in/pre us. Our server was attentive and efficient, as was the staff. The kitchen looked like a well oiled machine and the food they put out was proof.Not only was the food excellent, the portions were large and the pricing was outstanding. We plan to come back at least monthly to try the rest of the menu.BONUS : DOG FRIENDLY PATIOExcellent Service • Great Food • Outdoor Patio Seating⭐ ⭐ ⭐ ⭐ ⭐ 5 star experience!!

Edit: This note is for the owner/cookmy Wife and I ordered a Ribeye Medium, it came out almost rare. We sent it back and it came back still rare.Please don’t take this the wrong way…but for the price….the steak has to be cooked properly. A Ribeye should be cooked on high heat so that the fat can render. The photo below was from a different day and probably a different cook, it was delicious! As you can see….cooked with love!

The cast iron tavern is a great place with excellent food for the most part. My cubano was excellent. My girlfriends mediterainian steak salad look amazing. The problem was the fetta they used tasted old and possible moldy.
The owners Girlfriend is so rude. Will never go here again!

Randomly stopped in on a recent work trip to Golden. What a great spot! Sat at the bar and had the pleasure of meeting Kristin. She provided awesome service and conversation! The beer was ice cold and the burger was one of the best I've ever had. I'm hoping work brings me back to Golden soon just so I can revisit this place!

Great service in a comfortable place and my salad was excellent! can’t wait to go back and try the burger. I’ll also take pictures next time.Parking: You may have to drive around a bit, but you should have no problem finding a parking spot nearby.Kid-friendliness: A great family place, but not necessarily for children.
