Moved from south Florida to Lakewood and was so excited to find a delicious Cuban place! This is our go-to for Cuban food and we always get the beef empanadas, Cuban sandwich, and sweet plantains. I usually order extra empanadas so I can eat them for breakfast the next day. I just wish they opened earlier so I can get a Cuban coffee on the way to work.

Yummy! I got the pork and rice dish with sweet plantains. Delicious! Green cilantro sauce was really good too. Mmmm! Reminds me of the Caribbean food in south Florida.

Really, really good food. Great homemade feel. I'm not a big fan of Cubano sandwiches, nor the potato crisps that go on them but theirs is a fine representation. I most always have the chicken fricasee ot the ropa. Both are great takeout items as they are easily reheated if necessary. Don't miss this fantastic spot in Applewood.

I love this place. I do not agree with the bad reviews, sounds like a bunch of people upset their old spot closed. Should be angry at the government for forcing small business to permanently shutdown instead of taking it out on this place. We live in Denver and this is about as Cuban as it's going to get. The food is amazing, the sandwiches, the appetizers, everything has great flavor. It's my go to when I'm on this side of town. Seriously delicious food!

Amazing food!! Their empanadas are fantastic and the green salsa/sauce that they serve is incredible. I could drink it. There usually is only one woman working. She kicks butt taking orders and making all of the food. So there might be a wait but it's completely worth it. We also got cheese croquettes and the cuban sandwich. Both delicious at super cheap prices. If I had something to complain about it would be that I didn't get more stuff togo!

Been waiting a few months to finally visit this place and we were not disappointed. I had the Cuban Sandwich and Plantain Chips and my wife had the Cuban coffee, Chicken Sandwich and Empanadas. The place is not fancy, but neither are the restaurants in Miami, at least not the ones with the best food. The service was great and the music too. I would definitely recommend it for those of us who miss true Cuban cuisine.

EXTREMELY slow, rude old lady and service. If you order ahead online be prepared to wait 30+ minutes inside of the hot store-the AC doesn't work. Business looks like they're about to be bankrupt but doesn't do anything to retain customers, so I'm not surprised. Won't be back
Most authentic Cuban food I've found in Colorado. Empanadas, sweet plantains, yuca fries were all great! My favorite was their black rice! So amazing, could eat it every day. We ended up catering them for a house party and every one loves the food. The service was good too.

Horrible in all aspects. Slow service, dirty, unattractive place, and especially NOT CUBAN FOOD. Black beans were watered down to no flavor at all. Yellow rice was white and super moist. Breaded steak was over spiced and over cooked. Cuban coffee never arrived. I am Cuban, this place is a farce.

WOW, Stoped by had a steak Cuban sandwich and a beef empanada both were very good the sauces are also awsome ! I got one of their guava and cream cheese pastry! One of the best desserts I've had ever! Seriously amazing! Service is great ! I could eat here every day!

This place is fabulous...one of us had their named Cuban sandwich and I had the pork. The sweet plantains were the best I've had since moving here from the East coast. Red beans and rice had a touch of sauté onion and red pepper in it and was one of the best I've ever had

Such a disappointing place to visit. The food was pathetic. Tasteless. We came here because we were in the area and it was almost 5 stars. So my findings even confused me. This does not compute. Language barrier is pretty high. This incident made me miss my Cuban spot that closed down because of Covid. So the one lady show means that there's a lot of waiting. She cooks, serves and everything else. I don't care about that as long as the food is good. My Ropa Vieja I was so bad. Adam D' steak was so thin n tasteless and dry as a cardboard! The lady that works there is very nice. The food! Meh. One good thing is The fried plantain.
