Stumbled across Golden Sweets while roaming around Golden. The service was great as they offered samples of the different ice creams. All of the staff members were friendly and happy to help. The store was clean and well put together! I had the pumpkin ice cream and I wish I had gotten more because this flavor was absolutely delicious! If you're looking for a treat while in the city of Golden stop by Golden Sweets!

This place is so cute and unique! It is located right in the heart of downtown Golden, and it has a large variety of delicious ice cream flavors to choose from. It not only has ice cream, but it has a ton of chocolate dipped sweets, as well as shelves of candy. You cannot find anywhere else. We walked here after having dinner for a sweet treat. I was in awe at all of the fun, nostalgic, candy they had. The chocolate dipped sweets in the case looked incredible as well. The large variety of flavor options made it hard to decide which one to get, but in the end, I opted for the Jack Daniels chocolate chip. You could taste all of the rich flavors perfectly. It is probably one of the best ice cream flavors I have ever had! The consistency was not a typical hard ice cream like I am used to, but I am sure the alcohol effects how it sets. It was more like soft serve . The young man working there was extremely friendly and nice. He let us taste a few ice cream flavors before deciding which one to get. Every time I have been here it has been busy, which is a testament to how good it truly is!

I went there with my family and I was really confused why the guy (hipster white guy with a hat) running the register was so nice to my SIL and my sister and literally everyone else there but was so rude to me. I was so excited to try the hot chocolate I don't know why I would deserve ill-treatment? I was trying to make small talk and ask about the place. I love chocolate factories and it was my idea to go, and this guy soured my experience. When I think back about going here, I don't remember what the drink tasted like, what my chocolate tasted like, I just remember that this guy decided for some reason unbeknownst to me, I didn't deserve to be treated w decency and now I have to carry that with me forever

Great little shop with just enough variety in ice cream to satisfy that little craving. Hard packed ice cream with the traditional flavors as well as some off the path flavors that were so good - be sure to ask for taster’s so you can get little samples of each before you dive in for a cup or cone. Prices are fair, shop is clean and staff are super friendly, loved it here and highly recommend everyone visiting Golden Colorado stop in for a little treat!

Classic ice cream flavors and a cute environment. Service was decent, mostly all teenagers. A good place to take a break and get a cold treat when exploring Golden or coming off the river!
Stopped here for a treat after climbing North Table Mesa. The oat milk cookies and cream was fantastic. I don't normally get non-dairy ice cream but I would swap for this every time.

This place is most definitely not worth it. The ice cream is HORRIBLE to start. The service is bad and the workers are rude. I asked for a kids scoop of strawberry in a cup and they gave me a scoop of mint in a cone. I'm not one to complain so I took it anyways. The worker at the front asked me what size I got so I could pay and I told her it was a kids scoop because that's what I ordered so I assumed the worker would have at least gotten that right. Nope. The worker checking me out very rudely said "nope that's a regular" as if insinuating that I was trying to lie about the size. I would have brushed my experience off, but the ice cream tastes disgusting. I could not even take more than one bite. Huge disappointment because it was sooo expensive.

One stop shop for anything sweet in Golden!I really mean anything. Candy( any kind imaginable ), fudge, 24 flavors of ice cream and sorbet, sundays and shakes. If they bring it back, I’d recommend the Mexican chocolate! A must see if your visiting Golden and have a sweet tooth. A good place to grab a dessert after dinner or lunch.
