Am I the only one who thinks this place is pure garbage? Let's start with the food. Everything is over spiced and super salty. Portions are small for the "not so" small prices. I don't ever feel safe eating here because they hardly sanitize. I've been here twice (not by choice) and each time the service has been mediocre. If you do decide to go there (or you're reading this because you just sat down and unsure about your decision going), avoid the tall guy wearing the really really really tight jeans and t-shirts. Total d bag (from what the locals say) and apparently the owner. This guy needs to focus on the food and service and not focusing on getting tipsy at his bar, and annoying the customers. On the bright side, the ketchup tasted good.

While this place isn't for everyone, it is a local eatery and bar having friendly staff and good barbeque. Their Smoked Old Fashioned is a favorite drink. They use spirits from the State 38 distillery just up the road, which is owned by the same family that owns and operates Smiley's. Indoor, outdoor and bar seating are available, as well a takeout and local delivery. Well worth a visit - you might find you like it.

We ordered togo, I have ordered from here previously and had no issues so we didn't bother to check the boxes. The food took a while so we were eager to just go given the loud drunks at the bar. Missing elote, a side of mac and cheese, a juice box and a side of creamed corn. Mac and cheese with "pork" was actually chicken with no sauce, my bun for my brisket sandwich was soggy, and the chicken tacos had to seasoning, cheese or sauce. The side of creamed corn we did get was bland and thick. Last time I was there they had fresh kettle chips and amazing elote, got bagged kettle chips that tasted cheap and was missing the elote as I previously mentioned. This was honestly disappointing because I saw plates of amazing looking food being brought to patrons last time it was so good. Overall, both the food and the service was just disappointing. Only reason this got 2 stars instead of 1, was because the musician was great and the atmosphere was nice and comfortable.

It was just okay. The smoked pork was okay. I don't recommend the chicken it was soaking in fluid that must have been broth.?. Weird for smoked chicken. The bread provided was generic sweet buns. The chips were from bags. The BBQ sauce was fine. The Mac and cheese was okay and not kraft so that is good. The burger was good. Overall just okay.
Smiley's had friendly services & great games to play like Jenga or uno at the table. Food is kind pricey and limit to order but Brisket/smoke chicken was really good.

We had a BLAST at Smileys! Delicious food, and made a reservation to do axe throwing which did not disappoint! Fun for the entire family, and the staff was super friendly!!!
