It's always nice when I don't have to drive anywhere for food once I get to the hotel.I had the chicken sandwich and it was great!!The staff was awesome and welcoming.I'll stay here if I'm ever in the area again

Ok so we didn’t actually eat there but they catered an event on 11/11 and the food was probably the best meal I have ever eaten! The roasted carrots, garlic mashed potatoes and the beef were beyond perfection.Did I mention the best meal ever?

This place has the right cooks right now. Soo good. It's like a randomly hidden gem being a hotel restaurant. Perfectly mixed drinks including an old fashioned and whiskey ginger. Wine is never old tasting and the food is stellar. Being a local I would venture over here to eat just in a date night because it's soo good. It's had a few dips in the past but we do an annual event in their ballroom area and this year was exceptional. Great job bouncing back from the crazy that was the last couple of years.

First time at Doubletree Hotel in Grand Junction, Colorado! I have eaten a few times at Bistro 743, so far I've had the salmon which was delicious and my favorite appetizers are the duck wings! The staff there go up and Beyond in serving, Becca you're the best thank you for your service?

Each time of going into this place, it's all been great and wonderful. Except for this last time of going in. Usually I have a great time and even with our waitress, only this last time in there it was very different. My drinks normally are wonderful, but the drink I had tasted awful and very much unlike what I had there when ordering that drink and other drinks, too. I honestly wish she would have given me the other drink that I had named off first, too. I couldn't even finish off that drink entirely because of the awkward taste that the drink had this time. But really, overall, this is a really great place for food, and you most of the time get a waitress that is very great all around and comes to your table often to check up on everything and just to see how you're doing overall. The food is really great, too, and is most definitely a reason that I often go back there whenever I do get the chance to get out that way. When I normally do get out that way, I make sure to go to the place more than just once. This last time, though, I just did go in the only one time. Hopefully, next time, I will have a different waitress and a whole lot better of an experience.

We had breakfast. Well, partly. Zero service after we were seated. Breakfast buffet was $18, but there was practically no food. No one came by to check on us after we were seated and a buffet "menu" was thrown at us. Bacon/sausage was a greasy mess. Potatoes looked like they were done in a blender. Never again!

We were road weary on our trip to Palm Springs and did not want to leave the hotel. It was a great decision. Natalie our server was attentive and brought the wonderful specialty drinks from the bar, which was hopping, by the way. The Aviator was a hit for us. Les cooked up two taste filled meals. The blackened chicken thighs were moist and tasty. My husband gobbled up the Bison Meatloaf with mushroom gravy. Then as we watched Les prepare the flourless chocolate torte for someone else, he explained the other options. Crème Brûlée was one option but we were sold on the multi layered moist and beautifully presented lemon cake. Next time I will take pics, and yes there will be a next time as we are "sold" and plan to dine here on the way home from our vacation destination.

Breakfast is buffet only. The food is below average for a hotel and overpriced at $18. Service is chaotic, poor and inconsistent. When seated, I was asked by the host if i wanted coffee and i said yes. It never came. By time a server walked by and I asked again for coffee, 15 minutes had passed and I was done with breakfast. The server then spent a few minutes chatting at the receptionist stand, then helping 2 other tables before he came back with coffee. He didn't bring any milk or cream. Why not? Who knows. I guess they don't think in those terms. When I asked for creamer, it was delivered 5 minutes later. Coffee was cold by then. I left the coffee behind. I'm sure they didn't understand. It is also a bad practice to allow guests to walk the buffet line with their dogs! Leave your dogs in your room or at your table -- not the buffet line. An idiot owner is yelling at her dog in the dining room while people are trying to eat. The owner clearly rude of others, and the hotel clueless. I don't get feeding your dogs from the buffet food and allow8ng them to drink out of restaurant water glasses...in the dining room! Come on people. The manager has work to do here. Food quality should be enhanced and staff training undertaken. Until then, this is a poor excuse for an $18 breakfast buffet option.

Husband and I went for anniversary diner on Friday night for prime rib. Generous portion cooked perfectly with nice vegetable medley and garlic mashers. Service was 5 star. Scott took wonderful care of us start to finish! Loved watching the chef and assistants prepare everything from a distance. Accolades to the crew.
