As you can see by my attached video... we had fun ... or there is at least evidence that my husband did. Atmosphere was pleasant, inviting and somewhat calm. Definatly a good place to start the night off, which is exactly what we did.

I love the fact that this place has been so supportive of the local community for many many years.

I've come here for a few years now every pride. Always a great time with good drinks. Shout out to the staff for keeping everyone's glasses full even when they're busy!

The bartenders are nice enough and the drinks are fairly priced, but it seems like every time I go to this place there's nobody there and if I'm lucky there's five others. Maybe I don't know the right days to go in, but so far I've been disappointed with Charlie's.

My business partners and I were visiting from Durango and got a recommendation to go to Charlie’s. Had an absolute blast!! The bartender Liz had us in stitches. We’ll definitely be back whenever we’re in GJ!

Charlie's is the place to go in GJ. Good atmosphere, good people, good drinks. There are different activities, depending on your interests. Blues Jam on Tuesday, great for the more senior crowd, karaoke on Wednesdays, Drag Queen Karaoke on Saturdays. Also monthly dance parties, 1st Friday, and monthly drag shows, 2nd Saturday. Comedy Shows on 3rd Thursday. There also off nights when it's perfect to just chill. Free drinks on your birthday. Come down to Charlie's!

The owner is the sweetest you'll ever meet. She closes her bar for College theater events and takes care of everyone.

Charlie's is our favorite local spot! Its a great place for pool, to go dancing, or if you love to sing, Karaoke. Tim does an awesome job hosting! If you're lucky you might even catch a drag show! Sara behind the bar is the sweetest and will take great care of you! Go to Charlie Dwellington's for a fun night out in Grand Junction!

Always a good time. The Tuesday night Jam features local musicals and dancing. The food is always good and Liz and her staff are the best.

Great happy hour and friendly staff, but seemed more like avenue instead of a bar and not many food options.

This is a good chill spot to grab a drink and hang out. I've been three or four times mostly on Friday nights and it has never been very busy. The bartender who is always there is super kind and attentive. They have a wide selection of liquor and a good number of beers on tap. The food is pretty good too- I have had the wings and the soups they often have on special. There are darts and pool upstairs which is where we typically hang out as it feels a bit dead downstairs. I think it gets busy and more lively on days with events.

My husband and I are new to town and had heard great things about Charlie Dwellingtons, so naturally we were excited to go. I had forgotten my ID (my mistake) when I said I was fine to just hang out and have a coke she said I wasn't able to even be in the building. If your policy is you have to be over 21 that should be at a minimum posted somewhere, and/ or there needs to be a bouncer at the door. Sarah the bartender was rude, aggressive and made me feel so unwelcome. For the record I'm 34, and I do not look under 21, while I appreciate the compliment it was uncalled for. This is not the place that was described to us.

We are new to town and had wanted to check out Charlie dwellingtons. We met two people in town who wanted to take us. We arrived just after they opened at 4:30. I ordered a drink, and my wife did too. It turned out that my wife (age 35) did not have an ID, so she offered to just have a soda. The bartender (Sarah) said we had to leave. I politely pushed back that as complimented as we were that we looked under 21, we clearly were not 21 years old, and could we stay and have a soda while the other two people finished their beers. We then told the two people who brought us there what happened. They told us that Sarah was going through a tough time personally, and they would talk to her. They went up to talk to her and we overheard her say that if we did not all leave, she'd call the police. One would think this must mean we were mean or aggressive in some way. Let me assure you, we were not. We are in the restaurant business and understand how hard that job is. I'm always beyond polite to people in the industry and tip excessively. The people who brought us there were beyond embarrassed for Sarah's behavior and so apologetic. They explained that she had a lot going on in her personal life and they were so sorry for it. I'm not unsympathetic to things going on in a person's life. But I'm in my 40s and have never in my life had someone ask me to leave a bar. I'm sorry she's going through a rough time, but we did not deserve to be treated this way. Sarah, we are so sorry you are going through a tough time. We are not unsympathetic to this - but you really should not take this out on others.

First time and it was amazing! The bar tender made the best drinks and listened to me ramble . The owner is so kind they make you feel like family for sure. Great place to be yourself.

They like turning their ONLY customers away from this place so beware. Horrible customer service. Good luck with that business model because us and everyone we know will never be back. Can you say RACIST?
