Excellent place to pick up BBQ and Smoker supplies! Love supporying local, and, especially when they have stuff I can't seem to find anywhere else! Great variety and selection of pellets, and they just happen to carry the brand I like the most!

Just great stuff. Awesome variety. About to place another order. I usually order post oak and it’s been wonderful. I appreciate especially how their splits are the perfect size for the backyard offset. Not too big/not too small.

I ordered some post oak chunks and paid by PayPal. Once I got shipping confirmation i realized the address was wrong and sent a message to Fruita wood and explained the error. I didn't blame Fruita wood as this was obviously a pay pal error. Since it hadn't shipped yet this could have been easily fixed. Instead the owner Bert told me to deal with PayPal. Which is what I did. Then he got upset because I went to pay pal. I didn't file a claim I just opened an inquiry to let pal pay know there was a problem. Bert obviously has social issues as I read other complaints where Bert's more interested in proving his point rather than just taking care of his customers. I certainly won't be ordering again and I'll let as many people as I can know what kind of business this is .

I love this place it’s my go to for all my smoking needs! They have everything from spices to equipment. They have tons of different wood and pellets. I live that they are knowledgeable on what to use and not to use. We Lao love their food on Fridays and Saturdays for quick bites so flavorful and smoky!

Wood was heavy and wouln't burn. post oak. smoldered. had to cut small to get it to burn. over 70 bucks to cook a brisket. lucky I had back-up wood that was seasoned to get through the cook. as soon as i added my seasoned wood, it flamed up and burned in seconds. I guess if you sell wet wood, you make more money. Should have gotten 3 boxes not one for 30 pounds if it was dried right.

Good guys great selection of wood rubs sauce and all the supplies you need. I bought a Masterbuilt grill from them. Same price as the big box stores. Hint: ask them what it takes to assemble it for you.

I used to love Fruita wood. Catch that? Used to! For years, I ordered Fruita wood. I told a friend how much I liked it and, years ago, she started sending a box of it to me as a birthday present. This year, the wood all had thick bark on it (it had come nearly absent of bark in the past), completely misshapen (it had been pretty uniformly cut previously), and seemed dry. I emailed Bert about it, even telling him how much I appreciated the many good shipments in the past, noting that it's pricey but worth it. He expressed zero concern to this longtime customer. Rather, he just told me his moisture meter registered that the wood was fine and told me to mail him a picture of the wood. I wasn't sure what that would prove, but I did. I sent it to his email and also, as he requested, to his phone. That was days ago. I'm still waiting for a reply. If dismissiveness and defensiveness is his go-to, even to a years-long, (formerly) loyal customer, he can can take that wood of his and... Well, let me just say that I'll be ordering from another company in the future.

Ordered some mulberry wood online and it makes excellent chicken and pork loin. The package arrived within a few days, much more quickly than I had anticipated. I followed the directions they provided with the shipment and it yielded fantastic results, even on a first attempt. I will definitely be ordering some more because this place has the best prices and variety of anything online I’ve found. Thanks for a great product!
