Management at this store has declined the last couple of years. The front-end manager is a shrew and does not understand the concept of "customer" service. Poor training seems to be an issue. I've overheard staff in the aisles complaining about other staff members - this is not okay. Produce is better here than other places and still less costly than Safeway. Prices are high. Better deals across the street at Target. Have been shopping more at Walmart, Target and Sam's.

I have complained to customer service a few times, but now that more people are using Instacart and not selecting their own items, it seems that City Market is leaving products on the shelves that only careless shoppers would select. I have received expired packaged produce, wrinkled bell peppers and rubbery celery, among other things. I don't blame Instacart, because those items should not be on the shelves, especially in light of the "Fresh, fresh, fresh," commercial City Market is running. Today I opened a jar of crunchy Simple Truth Almond butter, and it was so hard that the oil on top could not be mixed in. The "Best Before" date is October12th 2018. Maybe they will care if I post a public review.

While I was shopping there today- day before Easter. No one understood the one way aisles as many of them would be going the wrong way which means more people in the aisle than should have been. People still don’t understand keeping 6 foot distance... I really hope you guys plan to keep up the hazard pay for your workers after the mess of people I saw today. They are putting theirselves on the line everyday without any proper PPE and people that don’t understand the basic directions of green go and red stop.
