We came in early on a Saturday night and there was only one table occupied. The service was outstanding and our server was a lot of fun. The salmon and New York strip were good, but the Mahi Mahi and shrimp bisque were amazing. I ordered the bowl of shrimp bisque with a side salad. The soup bowl was extra large. We all loved the warm and classy ambience of the restaurant. Mucky Duck is now on our list of favorite places in the Colorado Springs to Woodland Park areas.

Let's start with the server, he was great. Had a sense of humor and I enjoyed his interactions. The spinach artichoke was the best I have ever had in my entire adulthood!!! Then I went for the scallops and added shrimp, friggin great selection. Cooked to perfection with a delicious sauce, and the perfect texture of bacon to compliment the damn buttery smooth texture of the scallops, paired with candied carrots and loaded mashed potatoes. Thank you Mucky Duck for the best meal from my entire vacation!!!

It was crazy bad on many levels with the food So where do I go. They hand us a menu, and no duck on the menu. Really Duck is in the name. He informed us it is their special..., ok if I hadn't asked, we would not have known. Husband gets the Duck and since it is not in writing I thought I miss understood the teriyaki part. Skin not crisp and just a little rubbery. The glazed carrots were not glazed. Loaded mashed potatoes were a small ice cream scoop. Wiith not melted shredded Colby and a few pieces bacon. The real topper was a package of sour cream was thrown on the table. Yes commercial package like from deli. Did I mention the potatoes were SMASHED not MASHED? I got the regular "mashed potatoes" . They were SMASHED, Cold and PEPPERY POTATOES. I CAN NOT TOLERATE PEPPER. NO where does it mention smash or pepper. He replaces with Brussels sprouts which were hot and good. That is why 2 stars or else it would of been one. Let's talk about the lamb chops. Wanted med rare but closer to rare. He judged rare and could be put back on grill. So when they were blood raw... I said put them in the a to go box. I figured they would be over cooked. I would rather finish at home. A waste of a lot of money. Don't go. BTW went two doors down and order a good pizza a draft IPA and I had a single malt scotch. Mucky Ducks had neither.

I did not realize that we should have called ahead to make a reservation but we were luckily able to be seated, as we arrived fairly early. The food was delicious and fresh and the service was wonderful.

Adorable little restaurant in a cute little town! Food was excellent! We ordered the Dip roast beef sandwich with side salad. It was amazing in flavor. For the portion and price you can't beat this gem!
