Unfortunately, we had a crummy experience at Morning Story restaurant made worse by the general manager, Sarah Elliot. A friend recommended that we try the restaurant so my daughter and I went there on a Monday with my grandbaby for brunch. We both got food poisoning with horrible stomach cramps and diarrhea. I called the restaurant back on a Wednesday and the assistant manager said she’d get ahold of the general manager to call me that day. I didn’t receive any return call so called again on Friday. I again didn’t receive a return call so I called again the next Friday. I chose to sit on hold (for 20 minutes) since the general manager apparently doesn’t return calls. The general manager, Sarah Elliott, was then rude and reactive and told me she wasn’t considering it food poisoning as no one else had called the restaurant about this (most people don’t call a restaurant and tell them they got food poisoning), she wasn’t calling the health department, wasn’t refunding my money, and hung up on me. We won’t return to this restaurant because of the poor way the general manager dealt with our getting food poisoning from their food. She apparently doesn’t know how to take responsibility and do the right thing by her customers. I reported this to the health department who planned to go investigate and educate the restaurant this past Monday. We tried to dispute a charge through the credit union but, after they talked to Sarah Elliot, they chose not to refund our money so I will be calling Bellco credit union again to explain that the health department was investigating and hopefully they will let us dispute the charge then. Avoid Morning Story Restaurant!

Great breakfast spot! They had a great selection of meal options for adults and kids. The fresh juices and the Romesco Benedict was delicious! Also, don’t skip on the cinnamon roll, the size of your face and so good! Clean and beautiful space. Friendly and helpful servers. Highly recommend!Dietary restrictions: Great options for GFKid-friendliness: Our kiddo ate his whole plate, healthy options that he loved!

At Morning Story, I took advantage of their buy one get one free entree deal received in the mail. The service was prompt, with a quick seating and drink order taken. Opting for the Morning Story Combo, featuring a waffle, scrambled eggs with cheese, and sausage, I found the cheese on the eggs disappointingly just added on top, although fully melted. While the food resembled typical diner fare, nothing particularly stood out. It's worth noting I ordered a basic breakfast and a classic mimosa. Despite this, being a local, I'd return for breakfast or brunch, mainly for the excellent service. My four-star rating reflects my experience with the specific items ordered, as the service was great.

The host errored in the phone number even though I repeated it 3 times. Phone delivered cold as it sat in the kitchen for a time. As we had been there for over an hour, we got up and left. The manager yelled out why are you walking out on your meal! I said look at it, it hasn't been touched. I only pay for food and service that is apparently eatible.
I'm so disappointed because I was looking forward to brunch here and wanted to like the food. It just fell a bit flat and looked better than it tasted. My friend and I both got French toast - she got the berry cream cheese while I got the lemon blueberry. We both got sides, eggs, bacon, and hashbrowns. Our other friend got the chicken and waffles. The French toast for both of us was a bit dry and didn't seem like it had been soaked in anything before cooking it. The topping on the other hand was very good. The chicken in the chicken in waffles was pretty good but honestly just tasted like a chicken tender. The waffles were really crumbly and disintegrated when we tried to cut them. We all got good drinks - I got the pina berry fresh juice and was pleasantly surprised with how fresh it tasted. Overall, the ambiance is nice, the staff is super nice but the food is not up to par with expectations.

When I arrived there was no wait and plenty of available seats but apparently everyone in the DTC had the same thought as I did because it filled up really fast. Nonetheless the service was great and everyone had a smile on their face and was incredibly friendly. The food was delicious and came out quite quickly! It was tasty but the cheese on the burrito was processed and I would have preferred real cheese but the price of food these days gives a pass on this! The inside is very bright and cheery and is everything that I saw on Instagram! I will definitely be back!

Customer service was amazing. The manager and waitress were both great. However the food was not. I got chicken and waffles. The chicken was extremely over cooked and the waffles tasted like just flower, no flavor whatsoever. We also ordered the coffee flight, it was terrible. There was only a very little bit of flavor in them which was the drizzle on top of the whipped cream. Other than that, the coffee was all the same & horrible coffee.
