“We loved trying this place. The interior lovely and everyone is so friendly. The food is plated beautifully and has wonderful flavor.Have patience with the staff, not everyone is fluent in English but they try their best. We used the Google translate app and that easily cleared up the language barrier. We tried-Appetizers:-Causa Potato with CevicheEntrée:-Anticucho (this comes with 3 delicious sauces)-Tallarin A La Huancaina Con Lomo with BeefWe would recommend all three dishes!“
“I've only had Peruvian food once before at this great place now closed call Mango in St. Louis. This place, although not as swanky, exceeded my expectations. The bartender was a gem. Not only was her personality lively, but her knowledge of the menu was vast. Although not being Peruvian, she recommended the best dishes to try and they were all heaters. There is so much flavor in each dish I can't begin to describe how elated I was eating. The dessert was decadent and a nice finish to the whole experience. Also tried the Pisco Sour drink for the second time and it was made well, but not my particular taste.Definitely try this place out!“
“Tried Pollo Lima late this afternoon. The place is small and quaint. The staff was very cordial and excited for people to try their food. They were so nice.Ordered the chicken which was pretty good. Meat was tender and juicy, but I wanted more Peruvian spices. The plantains tender with a crispy crust. Yum.They have a variety of sauces which are fun to try and mix together for different experiences. The spicy pepper sauce was great with the green sauce and was good with the chicken and the fries. The yellow sauce good on rice and as a dip for your fries.I will most definitely return to try a few of their other menu choices or just get more roasted chicken. Some of their other dishes sound very interesting and well-worth trying. Drop in and try some for yourself!“
