The bolognese had a weird nutmeg taste that was overpowering. The waitress kindly sent it back and brought out the salmon instead. The salmon was ok but kind of bland... honestly, we enjoy the salmon we make at home better. My wife had a better experience with her Coffee Marinated Brisket. The wine was VERY expensive. We got two flights to share and some just weren't a hit, taste-wise.Not sure we would come back. The food and wine were so-so.

Bartender had to leave bar area to seat guests when there appeared to be 2 other staff people who could have done that but weren't for whatever reason.

We were here for a company event. Ambiance is great, a modern American bar. There are two seating sections one to the left and one to the right of the bar. Staff were friendly. Food was okay. We had the typical charcuterie board, pizza, beef sliders, portabello mushroom sliders. Their brew is much better.

That atmosphere was very modern, but yet thrown back in the 1930s theme. The decoration and the layout was very beautiful. The restaurant definitely has an elegant atmosphere. My server was very informative and patient with me whilst getting the menu for the first time, great customer experience and he was very knowledgeable with how to pair the wine with certain meals. The goat cheese beignets were amazing, so was the beef marrow with the black truffle! However, my New York sirloin was probably the worst steak I've ever had and that's why I'm giving this place 3 stars because an establishment such as this should have a very good steak, but that is my opinion I'm not some beef connoisseur by any means, but I've been to a lot of good steak restaurants across the country and I feel embarrassed to say, but the steak at Texas roadhouse is better than this! There was just no flavor or seasonings. It was just thrown on the grill and may I suggest LEGS Seasoning or at least salt and pepper next time. But the wine and the rest of the food of our meal was delightful. The dragon fruit sorbet wasn't my favorite either but to each their own. I will certainly be back to try other items on the menu, including the charcuterie board. This is a nice place to take someone on a date or even enjoy a dinner with the family. I would also say it's a good place to have a business dinner as well.

One of the best drag brunches I've been to. I went with 6 friends for their holiday drag brunch and it was lots of fun. Their brunch menu is small, but everything we had was delicious. Some of my friends had been there before, and had very good suggestions. I had the Smoked Salmon Toast, which was piled high with delicious smoked salmon above avocado, pickled onions, greens and an very tasty aoli. I accompanied that with one of their holiday cocktails, mulled wine, which was the most delicious mulled wine I've ever had. Other entrees at the table were the Croque Madame, Chicken Wings and Waffles, Rouge Breakfast, and the Bistro Burger with an Egg. Everybody raved about their food and I would like to go back and try them all! The space itself is very classy, and feels like a 20's speakeasy. Add to that all of the seasonal lights and holiday decor, and it was a perfect way to get in the holiday spirit. The drag queens were so personable and interacted with the guests with just the right amount of edginess. The food was served between the sets, and I loved that the queens came and sat with us. They were all delightful! So happy to have this wine bar out in the suburbs, and I look forward to visiting again for lunch, happy hour, dinner, and of course another drag brunch!!

The Rouge had a $75 prix fixe for NYE... we had been here once before (literally just last month - partner chose this place for my (amazing) surprise 40th) but we'd only had drinks/charcuterie.This place was just a non-stop disappointment food-wise. We were rushed through a five-course meal (like our entrees (fourth course) were brought out before we had started soup/salad (second course)). Twenty minutes into our reservation our entire four-top table was covered in dishes that should not have all arrived one right after the other. My entree (monkfish per the menu, sea bass per the server) was cold by time I (rushed) to get to it, which was probably a blessing in disguise. I received a very thin filet that was so overcooked along with an orzo salad (?) that tasted like it had never been seasoned.I'm 99% sure they don't have salt in this establishment since everything (starters and entrees - both mine and my partners) was just SUPER under seasoned (if it was seasoned at all).Just don't bother. The drinks are fine, the food is awful.

The place is nicely decorated. Staff is pretty attentive, I guess. The food is mediocre & doesn't deserve the prices they ask. I'm super disappointed with the beef marrow!! There was barely any meat in it, basically paid for a new bone for my dog.
