“Absolutely a winner of the first plate club. We had been meaning to try for a while now and finally got the chance. Upon entering, it was a little dark, but honestly I don't mind that. It creates an atmosphere of seclusion at your individual table.The menu is short but robust. Honestly, this kind of quick meal and drink place, but with table service is what I love. Give me a cheese board, but then take it real seriously...YES. We all love lunchables still right? This takes it to a whole new level. We also got the meatballs which were a nice compliment to the "Table Board." And of course the wine list rounds everything out.Then you have the service. Let me tell you, Elise is the kind of server that makes going out so enjoyable. Jovial, attentive, encouraging, and knowledgeable. An all around great human being.The cherry on the top was honestly that the pricing was reasonable. Everything's more expensive and we are not complaining about any of that. But comparatively for the type of food we're getting, we felt like this was a very reasonable price and exactly what we were looking to pay.My partner and I both agree that we need to come back and start eating our way through the menu. “I’m sure you all already know this, but Mountain Crust is the BEST! They were one of the first vendors we booked for our wedding at Skylight and from that moment on, every person we told, who was familiar with them told us how amazing they are! They were not wrong! During happy hour, Ryan made sure to come find us specifically to offer us appetizers multiple times and asked if I wanted the last one. (Go with the Bacon Wrapped Dates! DO IT!) When it came time for the main attraction, they were so amazing and even kept coming and bringing pizza to those on the dance floor, making sure to find us and see if we wanted more, etc. Their entire staff was so fun and friendly and they did an amazing job flipping the room from ceremony to reception for us. At the end of the night, they left us about a dozen pizzas which our friends and family all loved and appreciated. The wooden pizza paddle memento was such a sweet surprise as well. If you are considering Mountain Crust for your event, you will not regret it! My only regret is that I was so busy that I really didn’t get to eat very much haha but all the pizzas were amazing and we have had rave reviews from all our guests! “My wife loves fried chicken and I have been waiting for the stars to align between Stuboys Sunday only fried chicken and my wife's craving. Well it finally happened so we went to the joint to check it out. It's a tiny counter only place in the Old Elvis Movie theater building. Total family owned business with Mom, Dad and daughter. You can actually eat in but it's only a few tables in the atrium. At 3pm they were out of ribs and brisket. We were there primarily for the fried chicken anyway. Well the chicken did not disappoint and we got the family meal which is 8 pieces of chicken, 2 16oz sides and Texas toast. I tried the smoked wings with the dry rub. Tasty wings with a a bit of a sweet rub and good smoked flavor. The cost was 5 for 6.50. My order had wings that I thought were smaller than normal. The collard greens had amazing flavor and the fries were yummy. The chicken was sensational with a great crispness and tamed down herb flavor. Can't wait to try some BBQ next time.“
