Good customer service and nice atmosphere, customers looked like they were having a fun time in there. We work nearby and decided to get takeout, unfortunately when I picked up the food, they had put the cold sushi on top of the hot food and when we got back, the sushi was warm and pretty much ruined.Food was pretty good overall.

We ordered take out sushi for a gathering on a Friday night. Most of what we ordered had a very fishy smell to it. Sushi shouldn’t have an odor if it’s fresh. We didn’t eat most of what we ordered. Bummer since wasted a lot of $$ and had to serve something else. I offered to bring it back for a refund but they said it had to be the same day. Wasn’t going to make another trip back at 10:00 pm when our gathering ended. Not going to be ordering again.

Craving hibachi and thought this would be the place since benihanas isn't the same smh. Wrong! Walked in and the place was empty, only 3 tables with people hmmm first red flag. Tried not to go off other reviews butttt now I have to agree. Didn't hit the spot. First time and last! Food was bland and no flavor, sodas were flat and had to ask for our drinks to be replaced, grill was still dirty from the previous, dirty Silverware on the plates. Butter that the cook was putting on the food had burned pieces of food in the butter container and made the food taste burnt! Over $100 out the door SMH! Waitress got offended because I said the food was meh alright...✌?

Horrible food, we did Hibachi. The chef started on the other side of the table with the rice (totally fine and normal) but by the time he got to me and my husband there was only enough to fill one whole bowl so we both only got half of what we paid for, there was NO flavor whatsoever … the steak and noodles was overcooked, the veggies were undercooked, NONE of the food had any flavor, our chef was very cold towards us, didn’t talk much and was very quiet when he did. My husband ordered a Margarita and they must have only put a splash of alcohol in it. We have gone to a lot of Hibachi restaurants all over Colorado and this was by far the worst experience we had. I normally never leave reviews but this was one of those times where I feel the need to. Paid 15$ for a virgin Margarita and 100$ for the meal that neither of us ate.

I used to really love this place but over the last year or two, things have gone downhill. Don't get me wrong, the food is still okay, however, the service is really a hit or miss, and more often than not, a miss altogether. The last 4 times we've visited we've encountered the same issues, seated immediately, which is great (in the dining section, NOT Hibachi section for clarity), only to be left without service for lengthy amounts of time, and the food order is often incorrect or items are missing. The last time we visited, we were seated immediately, and then proceeded to wait for 25 minutes without ANY service. The bartender and several servers walked by and looked at us multiple times. They then proceeded to serve several tables that had arrived after us, mind you, still never stopping at ours. After the full 25 minutes, the bartender came over, said he had noticed we'd been sitting for quite some time without drinks and wondered if we'd been served. The answer was of course no, he said he would work on drinks for us, and when I spoke with the manager, she did offered to prioritize our food to be cooked first, however, by this point it was 7:30PM and our 3 children were tired, hungry and antsy, not to mention my husband and I were starting to feel frustrated with the lack of acknowledgement. Unfortunately this is pretty much our regular experience at Fujiyama now. Again, this place used to be wonderful, a favorite of my entire family, but unfortunately, the service standard has really taken a fall this last year.

The food is good, but they squeeze so many people at a table it's impossible to comfortably enjoy a meal while I'm rubbing legs with the stranger next to me. Could definitely bring it down to 8 people a table so the dining experience could be comfortable.

Good experience with the staff. Hostess sat us right away, the dining room was empty, except one other table. The hibachi side had more people. The ambiance in the restaurant was okay, something feels a bit off, huge walls with circular cutouts but no decor on the walls. Dining room furniture was well worn, could see tape on several chairs. We went in about 1.5 hours before closing and the dining room was dirty, a lot of rice on the dining room floor. Server greeted us promptly and was friendly. The food was okay, it was nothing extraordinary. The sushi (Ahi) had a slightly fishy aftertaste. The filet was cooked perfectly, and my husband enjoyed his scallops and chicken breast that came with his hibachi meal. The fried rice was not great, a bit dry and they went heavy on the sesame oil, no other real flavor. Same with the Hibachi Soup, very light onion flavor and not nearly enough salt. The ginger dressing on the salad was quite tasty. Will return eventually, but it wasn't so incredible that we want to go back asap.

We loved Johnny! He was hilarious and his humor was definitely under appreciated. He also used a generous amount of butter which was delicious. My only complaint is nobody squirted sake in my mouth.

Very disappointing first visit. We ordered take out...a steak hibachi dinner. Turns out it came with some shrimp. I can't eat shrimp, and i didn't order shrimp... so I called and asked why there was shrimp. They said every meal came with shrimp and it was on the menu. Well, it's not the online menu that every meal comes with a very common allergen...aka the shrimp. What a waste of 30$. They said they couldn't do anything for me. Don't go here and waste your money on a business that doesn't care about you. There's plenty of other nice restaurants around. For example, I went to Smoothie King right before here. Their staff was great, and they helped me navigate the menu to avoid food allergies. Support caring businesses like that, and not like Fujiyama.

Sat at table in sushi area instead of hibachi area. Bartender was also server. Sushi was good. They forgot to bring soup and salad that I ordered to start with sushi. They also forgot soup and salad for those who ordered from hibachi menu. Finally got attention to correct them and they brought out soup and salad for hibachi dinners but not for my add-on for sushi. We just got them to remove it from the check since I was finished eating at that point. Food was good but service was not. 2 stars
