“It looks like a fast food joint but it's really a good food joint. I got sushi the first time and it was pretty good. Get a bowl. Make your own... the dragon sauce is fire ? and the volume of food you get is great. I can't say enough good things about this location. The staff is great and so is the food. 5 stars for sure.“

But we are recognized each time which makes us feel welcomed.It was cold and snowing a bit so the restaurant was empty but lit up.We started off with the Crispy Tuna and Miso Soup. The West Coast Roll was fantastic. The Yellowtail was fresh like always.The server was attentive without being overbearing. The fish was fresh and everything was seasoned to the same standards as we remembered.“
“We recently ordered online and picked up from this Tokyo Joe's location. Our meal was completely right; that's so rare with online ordering and pickup! I especially appreciated getting plentiful avocado with my bowl. Our food was ready fast, the staff was friendly, and it was just an all around good experience.“
“We used to drive locally to castle rock venue but I was referred to this location in highlands ranch and the entire check list was demonstrably superior The place was ten times nicer ambiance and tastefully decorated and modern. Above all a very clean and well kept restaurant We had a fantastic hibachi chef. We got a sudden birthday disco like lighting surprise for my wife. The food was immaculate for all concerned. Our party of 8 truly had a wonderful time We would all strongly recommend it“

“Loved the sushi and the friendly service. They make their own sriracha and soy sauce. They were both SO GOOD. All sushi was fresh, I prefer the basic rolls over the super topped ones as you can get a nice tastes of the fish!The beef bowl had nice flavor and the veggies in it were great. Will be coming back!“
“We LOVE this place! Everything we've tried is delicious. My older kiddo loves the hibachi chicken with extra yum-yum sauce. My younger one always gets the yaki soba noodles with chicken. I've had the chicken katsu curry, which was also amazing. My husband's and my favorite is the spicy tuna nachos - soooooooo good!“
“We had such a great experience here! The food was delightful - I would highly recommend going with a group and trying several of the rolls. The dragon and naruto rolls were my favorite.Cost is to be expected, honestly some better prices than comparable sushi in the area! I will definitely come back. Also not pictured is a delicious chocolate cake that we got, as we were celebrating a birthday! Such a nice surprise!PS there are several TVs, I think this would be a great place to catch a game!“
“We tried Sonoda’s for the first time recently and it will not be our last! The salmon hand roll was amazing, as was all the nigiri, specialty rolls, and tempura. The staff were very friendly and attentive. We were also very impressed by their salt water aquariums. Look out for the baby corals and the baby clown fish! So cute.“
“The bowls here are always pretty good, nothing extraordinary but I’ve been back a few times already. If you get your sauce to go, it will come in the tiniest cup imaginable so always ask for extra. I love that they give the option of all broccoli for the vegetable choice. The chicken can come a little overcooked and chewy but it’s never that bad. Decent noodles. Will go back again.“
