I came in this morning to get a money order. I waited at the customer service desk for a bit and noticed that 2 women workers were deep in conversation at self-checkout. They both looked at me and then turned around to continue their conversation. Finally one of them walked over, Holly went behind the desk and said "What do you need?" Seriously?!?! This is how we are going to treat customers. I asked for the money order and she rolled her eyes and went on the rant about how much they cost and what money increments they come in. I am not asking for your permission for this. I need the money order for a dumb bill. I haven't gotten any money since I was a teenager. I am sorry for inconveniencing you, but this is your job. My family and I have worked at Safeway before, heck my dad retired from Safeway. I know how you are supposed to treat customers. But I feel like every time I shop here, the atmosphere is awful. No one smiles or helps you. The managers are too busy having their conversations and stand in the middle of the aisles. I am just really disappointed about this location. Looks like I am heading to King Soopers instead.

Initial Email:I placed order #67530004 last Sunday 07/23/2023. I even paid to get this express delivery, as I was in a rush. One hour later-nothing arrived and it still never showed "on the way." I reached out via chat and there was nothing they could do to assist but ask the driver or store to reach out to me, at some point-but they could not verify when, if ever, anyone would reach out. Of course, no one did. At this point I did not want to leave to go to another grocery store, in fear of this order being delivered and having double product. Another hour goes by and I contact the store. The person who answered was delightful and this certainly is no reflection on him. They believe the driver took my order and never delivered it. He assured me the manager would credit my account for the amount the following day. One week later-I still have not received my credit. I understand this takes a couple days but come on. It shouldn't if this was credited in the day, for the day, as it should have been. Then I have spent hours trying to reconcile this, with chat, the store, customer service, etc. I have cancelled my fresh pass and I would like a refund for my past fresh pass payment, as it was only used for that order and I am not paying for something I cannot rely on and causes me more of a headache in an already busy day.Follow up email: Hello. You stated "Your order refund request is under review. A final email will be sent within 24 to 48 hours." This was SIX DAYS AGO. I still have no refund from 07/23 from an order that you never delivered, nor an update. I need an update on this. This is absolutely ridiculous. I will never shop with Safeway again. Furthermore, I want to be credited for my fresh pass. It was never used for the month of August except for the delivery that you DID NOT deliver. I am not paying $12.99 for absolutely nothing. If this is not handled today, I am reaching out to dispute both of these charges with American Express and reporting to the BBB.STILL NO REFUND AND NO RESPONSE-Still waiting on over $100 2 weeks later

What could be a great Safeway location has been brutally plagued by a huge staffing issue. Pay your staff more. There simply cannot be one register available for the entire store on a busy weekend day. Not to mention the self checkout machines are broken af and constantly closed down, and you cannot physically check out a real full size grocery haul due to the stupid design that prevents you from being able to put bags back in your cart. This place is a joke and we now drive the extra 15 minutes to go to a different store. Figure it out.

The Safeway pharmacy is amazing. They always get my prescription for my son. He was sick and there was a shortage of amoxicillin they had it. Walgrrens took weeks. I just had a similar issue with antibiotics for me and I couldn't get them for days but Safeway had them. The pharmacist is so nice and pleasant, I will not go anywhere else now that I have found them

Very rude at the pharmacy and were given the run around trying to get help. Don't go there! We will go back to getting our prescriptions online.

There's ALWAYS a catch to their "deals". e.g: must buy 2, specific size or variety. I bought some Oscar Mayer deli Fresh on sale. It had some disgusting gel-like substance all over the meat when I opened the package. I immediately threw it out. Definitely need to check expiration dates for their so-called "deals".I have often clipped the For U coupons on their website, only to not get the discount when I'm checking out. Feels like a bait and switch scam many times.Some of their employees are not very friendly at all.

Can't even go grocery shopping there without an employee comming up behind me and whispering in my ear "you should just buy all the food". Thus calling me fat and being crazy creepy while invading my space. Wish I could see the tape.I was in such shock i just hastily walked away without looking and checked out.

I have never in my life met a ruder person. I ordered a Carmel macchiato and forgot to ask for oat milk because I'm lactose intolerant and when I did remember I asked "is it too late to use oat milk instead of 2%" and the barista responded "yea" . I'm not sure if she was having a bad day or what but was giving me a ton of attitude. I do not recommend.

Have called several times today starting at 7:30 AM. Trying to reach bakery for a sizable Easter order. No one answers the phone, no message to "leave a message" and call gets disconnected each time. Not surprised as I have experienced the slow pace of the customer service counter when there in person. What's so hard?? Taking my business elsewhere.

Buyer Beware - got home to find expired food from November and earlier 2021 sold to me in January 2022. Returned it to the store to find the entire display is expired. The store didn't seem to concerned about it. Glad I didn't give it to my 3 year old.

I ordered party trays online for a birthday party. After picking up other party items - cake, balloons, etc. - I had my fill of listless, uncaring young employees acting like I was a nuisance. However, as soon as I came within 5 feet, the woman at the deli counter greeted me and then immediately knew what my order was. Because she'd just made it fresh herself. She carefully wrapped up all the condiments and offered to help me cram all the trays into my full car. What a nice change! I have always liked the staff at this particular Safeway. Thank you. Do Not Go there!! Terrible customer service!! I wanted to buy a large expensive Prime Rib roast, I called the meat department manager yesterday and was told come in tomorrow morning we have a rack of them that you can choose from when I got to the store today at 9:am the meat department employee told me we have what's on the shelf now (Only two not great looking roasts) I said do you have some on a rack that I can pick from,he said no not until later this afternoon and he just walked away and left me standing there.I have been a customer of this store for over 20 years and now I will never buy anything from there again!!

They have stuff advertised incorrectly. I asked if they could check the price which he said no. So then I mentioned it to the service desk person who could barely be bothered to look up from her phone or computer. Guess I know where I won’t be shopping anymore.
