Bad customer service, the cashier didn't offer to open or bottled mineral water and waiter very rudely asked us to get up and open ourselves near the trash can. The ac was not working, it was very hot inside and also once they brought us our tacos they didn't bring salsa, we had to get up and ask for some. Not once did anyone come check on us, we were there for one hour.

Well they have found cockroaches in the restaurant, how unsanitary it’s that. It means that they don’t keep their food nor their place clean. I wouldn’t recommend to go there unless you want to get sick.

This place had very bad service. They acknowledged us but continued to ignore us. We ordered 2 Drinks and they were just rude. If I could've gave no stars I would've. It's no wonder why they were dead in a Saturday afternoon. They really need to work on their customer service skills.

Worst Mexican food in the area if there were an option for 0 stars that would have been my choice. Not even close to 20%… I never waste food but this food went straight to the garbage… I haven’t been to Taco Bell for 20 years but I promise you it is far better then this place. Waste of $20 and I will avoid this place like the plague…

I don't know what happened but unfortunately Taqueria La Esperanza has gone very downhill. I put in a pickup order through door dash at 6:30, 30 min before they close. I got to the restaurant at 6:45, and they claimed to not have my order. When I showed them, they said "well we didn't confirm it". They refused to cancel/decline the order for some reason and now I get to deal with deal doordash Customer service as well. Much better tacos across the street with far less attitude. They easily could have just declined the order with no hard feelings but to ignore it and waste my time is unacceptable. Also, the employee was not wearing a mask as mandated and was coughing. I won't be going back.

I got chicken tacos here yesterday, and a few hours later I felt really sick to my stomach. I have eaten tacos here before and this was the first time I had a problem. I won't be eating here again!
We order from here on Grubhub occasionally and have always gotten quick delivery and accurate orders. Most of the food I would call "run of the mill": good food but nothing special. Their carnitas are especially good, though, with nice crispy edges and not too fatty. I like both the carnitas platter and the carnitas taco plate.

The young lady working, really didn't know how to get us or make us feel welcomed. When we (2 of us) asked for water while we waited for our friend she only brought one glass. We had planned to have dinner, but left.Later we realized it was probably more of a local lunch place for the nearby high school, than a quaint place for dinner.
