Am l'm so glad we went here for my birthday last night 03- 04 - 24,there was 5 of us in my group, and there were a few other couples there but it wasn't too busy, but then we got there around 7: 30 and they close at 8 pm , but they let us stay and order and eat. We had a couple of appetizers, loaded tater tots, and cheese sticks and the those dipping sauce were the best in house made I've had in along time especially the marinara sauce,( I really want there recipe) every one was very pleased with there dinners they had ordered I had a CFS Dinner with mashed potatoes, and broccoli rice casserole, my youngest granddaughter had Shepherd pie, and onion rings, and my oldest granddaughter had the mashed potatoes bowl, Which is Chicken chicken tenders and corn with mashed potatoes and gravy and cheese on top .my daughter had rib eye steak , Fried okra and squash casserole. And my son in law had liver and onions with gravy and a Caesar salad, . The thing is this was a lot of food and I only seen one server and he waited on us with a smile and kindness and patience and he took care of the other people in the restaurant as well. I didn't catch his name but he did a fantastic job ? and since it was my birthday they gave me a cherry cobbler with icecream on top it was delicious and enjoyed it with everyone at the table , all the food was delicious home cooked meal ? this place is like a cute hidden little jem, the atmosphere was very pleasant it wasn't loud or noisy every body could talk at a soft normal tone and be heard with bothering others guests in the restaurant , I highly recommend this Black eyed pea restaurant.Parking: There plenty of parking spots and handicap right up frontKid-friendliness: It's a family style, & home comfort food.Wheelchair accessibility: Yes its wheelchair accessible and plenty of room inside as well

One stare is too many, not only was the service beyond terrible (especially since there were only a few customers in there) the food (chicken fried steak in my case,) was so disgusting that I literally vomited! and it frankly didn't taste any worse coming back up. Definitely will not be going back!

The quality has gone way, way down. I ordered off Doordash but attempted to contact the restaurant directly with my concerns and they ignored me. Not the same quality and not worth the over priced food.

An amazing time I had with my family and server! Angelique is an amazing server and has great personality...what an amazing person to experience dinner with. The rest of the staff that brought drinks or took plates away was also very cordial and a pleasant to have within our experience.

Took over an hour to get food out, had to take it to go and the order wasn't even right. Waiters weren't familiar with the menu. Grounds in the coffee, I could go on. Very poor restaurant all around.

Loud rock music, waitstaff reeked of stale alcohol, overcooked mushy pasta, everything salty, dirty bathroom, sharp metal sticking out on outside seating. Never ever ever going back.
Server was very responsive to our needs. Good atmosphere. Food arrived warm, but not hot. The food was tasteful.
