The staff is nice. But that's the only good thing I have to say. I was not notified until I had paid and tipped that they were out of boba, well technically, they had half a scoop. I was recommended the brown sugar jelly as an alternative only to be told it wasn't available either. So I left with two drinks that I was unsatisfied with. One that had 12 boba in it, and one that had some weird lychee jelly in it. It's not like you can taste test. I just had to cross my fingers and hope for the best. It did not work out in my favor. This place is not being run appropriately. The issues here is management.

Customer Service definitely is not something implemented in their training. The wait times are also ridiculous, if you order on the site, expect it to take 40 minutes at least and 10 at least if you go in. I'm sure that there are good days as well but after years of coming I can't bring myself to do it anymore with how lackluster it is. Try other cafes and boba places in Belmar

Cute shop but barista made a latte when I ordered a cappuccino. Likely just a training issue but would recommend they address it.

I was craving an early-ish morning boba with some caffeine and the only place I knew of in the area was still closed, so I hopped onto Yelp and found D-Cha. It's a cute, small space with a handful of seats and a large, expansive menu behind the bar.Kyla was the only one working and she was working up a storm to help the thirsty customers! She apologized for the wait, finished up her current order and came to help me out. I ordered the Green Tea Milk with boba and requested oat milk instead - she let me know they use a dairy-free creamer in their boba and made sure I was okay with that before ringing me up.I waited just a few minutes before my order was ready and Kyla kept working away, helping out the growing line with her friendly, patient demeanor, before going back and running out those drinks as the orders piled up. Great service and delicious drinks!

I've been to D-Cha many times, enough to have my punchcard filled out a few times. And they're usually fantastic. But the yesterday I'm not sure if it was a new employee, or if I personally offended them, but I got a pumpkin spice latte that the only taste was coffee grounds, mostly because there was coffee grounds in the bottom of it. It was a struggle to drink, and I threw it away halfway through after powering through the first bit. Not sure if I'll be returning.
