8 tables available, nothing marked as reserved except for 1, and they refused to let me and 2 friends sit down and said they were not "taking walk ins"

Love this place!!! Everything is great! Coming from a Brazilian. Just been waiting for the remodeling so we can visit again. Food is delicious and genuinely Brazilian style. Love how they always have Globo playing on the tvs, live soccer games and such.

I'm confused is this place planning on moving to West 38th in the empty retail space under west 38th apartments? Since there has still never been anything that opened there since being built.

A couple of pictures suggest it's a dine-in restaurant. It is not. They have 1 table with 4 chairs, and they will serve your food in a to-go container. The food is good though, and they sell a good number of Brazilian grocery items.I wish their chicken stroganoff had mushrooms in it, and that the meal was served with shoestring potatoes instead of potato chips. Maybe next time!

Horrible, greasy, and there was short brown hairs in the food, and all of these things are to some extent forgivable, but the horrible attitude and rudeness and trickiness and very clear dishonesty was sickening. The server (I don’t know his name, but he was very overweight and an attractive, just saying, to describe his physical appearance for identification purposes) was rude and the rice was old and the server refuse to exchange it without a fight and his unprofessional attitude detracted from the experience. Now I’m sick and so sick I can’t drive. And the OWNER was also a j**** He argued w the server loudly and we all had to listen. I suspect they are from a very “unrefined” part of Brazil, based on their mannerisms. They are used to treating tourist bad and getting away with it. I. They must have paid Brazilians in Brazil or have people they know to do a bunch of fake reviews. I lived in Brazil for four years and fake reviews for sale is a thing down there. There is no way that they honestly and legitimately have these good reviews based on the food and service that they are providing people. No freaking way.

Super cute little place with absolutely amazing food. The gal at the front was super sweet and friendly and gave amazing recommendations. It was the first time I've had Brazillian food and I absolutely plan on going back.

We’ve been coming here for awhile. It’s a great little spot, but it’s a bit pricey. They do have a lot of gluten free options. They aren’t open often, so you have to time it right. (If you order the cheese bread, double check you get all 6. We’ve now been shorted twice on to go orders ?)
