I'm so disappointed. I had heard good things about Manning's. The reviews were very positive, and I love supporting family restaurants.The crab cakes were wet and so salty we couldn't finish them. The hollandaise was clearly from a package. The rice was identical to a rice a roni microwave package with some rubbery mushrooms thrown in. The demiglace was so salty as to be inedible.The steaks were fine, but there are so many other places to get a decent steak. Outback serves better quality food at a lower cost.

I love this place. Great servers/bar tenders. Amazing happy hour deals. Aside from that, their salmon is amazing amongst everything else. Muah!

I’m only writing this because I genuinely would love to see this place improve. The service has always been excellent, but damn guys you need a new chef (or a whole new kitchen staff). My boyfriend and I have been here a few times as we live in Lakewood. I know inflation has caused pricing to soar, but when a steak sandwich goes from $13 to $19 in a couple of years, and the sandwich comes out inedible (totally stale bread, poor quality steak that’s not only chewy but can ya maybe slice it thinner so its easier to eat? And what looked like literal cheese wiz instead of the brie that was advertised) I had to send it back. My boyfriend’s $30 filet was a horrible cut & his fries looked like a grocery store’s frozen section type garbage. If you’re going to charge a premium like that, the food better live up to it. Updating the menu would be cool given its been the same for atleast 3-4yrs. Also, can someone please upgrade the wine? I’m sure you love your RNDC rep, but for the love of god can you diversify a little? Its all big brand, domestic garbage you can buy at the grocery store. A little bordeaux and rioja BTG would go a looooong way.
