This one of the Lakewoods hidden gems. A relaxed atmosphere where you can bring your friends, eat great food, sit and chat, and nobody's trying to chase you out too soon.

Sunrise Sunset is a great breakfast place! Nothing fancy but a good dependable standby. You can get a basic breakfast (my husband likes the 2+2+2: 2 eggs, 2 sausage links, 2 pancakes!) I go for skillets or build my own omelets or order omelets from their menu! They honor my specific requests like fresh cracked eggs, butter on the side, etc. And, the price is right. We have been going here for 32 years! Dependable and friendly!Dietary restrictions: Can adjust most things on the menu. Dairy free, gluten free, Lactose IntolerantWheelchair accessibility: I had to use a wheelchair due to an injury and they were able to accommodate me. Same with a walker. All on one level and doorways are wide enough to get in the door. Handicap parking right in front of the restaurant. That said, bathroom might be a challenge.

Had breakfast there this morning. We got the strawberry hot cakes, chicken fried steak, and the southern special along with orange juice and coffee. Lyn was our server, and she was so attentive and kind. She brought a pitcher of coffee, which was a really nice treat. They also bring you a pitcher of water when you’re seated. The hotcakes had a wonderful texture, soft but fully cooked. The gravy was delicious, and we enjoyed trying their own hot sauce. Would recommend! Everything was excellent, and I would be happy to bring more people here to try more of their dishes.

Not bad. A small cozy place with American and Tex mex brunch items. Nothing fancy but most everything is tasty and filling.

NO ALLERGY ACCOMMODATIONS: Called to find out if they can accommodate a soy allergy. Put me on hold for 10 mins, came back and asked what I wanted. Asked again about allergy accommodations: said they don’t know because no labels on their ingredients and can’t help. Asked if the kitchen could help, they said no.
