Had the best dinner date with my wife! The burgers are top notch and our server, Cora, was awesome. 10/10 would recommend and can't wait to come back and try more things off the menu.

Maybe it was off day for them, but I had higher expectations after my buddy raved about the place. Service was slow, and the food was quite bland. We both ordered bison burgers, and both were quite underwhelming for a $20 burger. Sides were not any better. Onion rings were under cooked and flavorless, and fries were unbearably plain. Not sure I'd really want to come back, especially when there are plenty of other places to get a burger cheaper and better.

It’s fun. Service is friendly and feel like they’re happy to be there. And the bison tilt is a good one. We stopped in for a quick lunch and they were more than accommodating. We didn’t even know it was a chain. Which also shows how much we know.

Stephanie was our server and she went above and beyond with her attentiveness. The steaks that my wife and I had (buffalo, of course) were cooked to perfection. The garlic mashed potatoes and asparagus practically melted in our mouths. Very nice place to go for a date night!Parking: Plenty of parking in the lot behind.

Some places rest on their laurels. And some restaurants aren't trying hard enough. Such is Ted's. Over 20 years and maybe a dozen meals, they've lost the desire to serve well. What used to be a great place for beef, burgers and generous portions has now slipped, badly. We arrived for dinner at 7:30 past the usual rush and sure enough there were open tables. The wait staff yawned and seated us in a dark booth. 12 minutes later our wait person asked if we wanted more than water. We did. 10 minutes later our drinks arrived. We quickly ordered. 22 minutes later my burger and her wedge salad arrived. The burger was hot, under done and the wedge was small and undersized, a pygmy slice of iceberg lettuce with modest toppings. 15 minutes later she came to check on us. 10 minutes later we got the check. 10 more minutes and she came to the table to process the card. $55 later we walked out at 9 and resolved never to go back.

I usually love Ted's. The food is consistently good and the service is usually top notch. The single star reflects the service we received rather than the food (which was good). I was at their Belmar location (first time at this location) and had horrible service. We sat at the bar, our server pretty much ignored us during the entire night (mind you she was taking care of customers next to us). We had to ask to order food, water, get the bill, etc. and had to remind her that we needed refills on water.

This is a late review but this needs to be said as it saddens me that my husband and I won't be coming back after the service we were given. My husband and I have been here a couple of times and the last time we went was on Sunday and this server was at first nice. I forgot her name but that night she was dressed kind of like Harley Quinn, pig tails and all and had glasses. My husband ordered his usual bison burger that he got there and I order a bison salad. He wanted a medium done burger but got sent a well done burger that tasted burnt. I even took a bite and it just tasted as if it was just left on the grill too long and the flavor was just gone. We asked if we could get a new one and the server went from nice to sassy real quick. Kept asking us "would you like a new one", "I can get you a new one" on repeat but in the most condensing tone possible. She stopped smiling and that's when we knew it was going to be an issue. It actually got worse. The burger took 30 minutes to get to us and the restaurant wasn't even busy. She brought us the burger and just dropped it and left. My husband bit into again and zero pink and just well done....AGAIN! The server kept blaming the new chef they had on training but I'm sorry if the chef is new in training someone has to make sure he is being taught properly. But for the server to just be blaming others rather then get someone to investigate the issue is baffling. When we wanted to pay we couldn't find her but she eventually brought us the check, paid us out and we stay there for a bit debating if we wanted to bring this up to a manager but didn't. As we were leaving she was leaning up on the kitchen bar talking to the chefs , probably bad mouthing us cause the minute she saw us leave she straightened herself up and stopped talking. Sorry but horrible service and if someone says something is an issue don't be making the customer wait almost 30 more minutes to get another order in and still get it served wrong.

According to the team there, they are unable to control the heat and AC so it was freezing in there because they can’t turn on the heat when it is 1 degree outside. It has been all over the news this historic freeze this weekend, so you would think the management would have had the foresight to turn on the heat. It was so cold, the food got cold instantly. Even the chili was like warm by the time it got to the table. The butter in the mashed potatoes stayed hard and same with the cheese was never able to melt into the chili or mashed potatoes.Aside from that, the food was super greasy. Like a puddle of oil on our plates. The burger completely fell apart the very first bite from the saturation of oil.Not a good experience. The staff was nice- loud in the back though.
