Amazing beans with a wide variety. I never order coffee here, I make it at home. But I asked and payed for 3 shots of espresso and only got one? I was very confused about that. Regardless it's a great shop. Just be sure to double check how much espresso ur really getting.

Came by with my dog after eying this spot for a while. Pleased with the attentive service and hospitality of the staff. Got a fancy latte and a pastry to enjoy on the west facing patio area with my pooch. Dogs can’t be inside since they have a full kitchen but they’ve got a walk up window that streamlines the whole process! We’ll certainly be returning.

Friendly staff. The Colorado Surprise frozen joe and ham & cheese croissant were excellent! They have just about anything you could need for making coffee and tea.

I came here specifically because I was craving a Bonfire Burrito and Village Roaster was listed on the BB site as a location that serves them. I was disappointed to find that they don't carry Bonfire, but I wanted a burrito so I was still happy that they have their own that are locally prepared. I got a sausage burrito and oh my gosh, it was fantastic! Perfect portions and came with really delicious green chile on the side. Service was friendly and prompt, as well.Vegetarian options: There is a vegetarian burrito option but no vegan optionDietary restrictions: Bakery items have ingredients clearly labeled on label

I have been buying coffee here since 1989. Friendly staff and a great place to learn how to serve the public. Still my favorite coffee shop.

My favorite coffee place! Panini sandwich is very good and I love their Chai! Always friendly service and nice selection of gifts, too. One thing to keep in mind: their drinks seem to have A LOT of caffeine in them, but great coffee and selection!

This is a unique opportunity to support a local small business and really enjoy a great cup of coffee and pastry. The gift shop is extensive with all kinds of cute coffee mugs which I purchased a couple for gifts. Also, I’ve brought selection of coffee beans to purchase and take home. Also a unique offering of herbs and spices two pots and coffee machines.

Friendly staff but awful croissant and stale chocolate. Received refund no problem, but other pastries in the case looked old and thought the croissant would be safe, no. Sister ordered a pumpkin foam latte but made a pumpkin spice that wasn't good and way too sweet. Wanted to like this place but unlikely to return.

I've been frequenting the Village Roaster in Carlsbad, just down from the Cinepolis theater, for several years. It's a regular stop on my 3x per week ebike rides. The staff is among the most friendly group of ladies you could ask for. They know their business and they quickly learn who you are and what drink(s) you prefer. The service is quick without being rushed, and the owner is clearly the reason the staff is so good. He has an encyclopedic knowledge of his craft, and the selection is vast and of the highest qualityThey know coffee, and they provide free roasting demonstrations, as well as a section of baked goods that are a major draw. I don't recall a single negative experience there. I would highly recommend itDr. Emmett Smith, OMD

Coffee is very good. Prices for bulk flavored coffee beans keep going up though every time I come in. Almost pricing me out of shopping there.
