“Wet love their wine. We tried to stop by the tasting room but they had recently moved in. The owner stopped and spoke with me and told me he was sorry and when they would be open for tastings. Very nice guy. We will definitely come back once the new tasting room is open as we have tried them before and love them!“

InVINtions, A Creative Winery Wineries • $$
9608 E Arapahoe Rd, Greenwood Village - 7.49 miles

“We held our rehearsal dinner at InVINtions in early February, and could not have made a better choice. Marcus, Mackenzie and their entire team are the kindest, most welcoming, and caring individuals. We spent many months getting to know Marcus, doing two batches of wine, and planning our event. From many tastings to the actual bottling, and the large event, they took care of every detail. Marcus closed the winery early for us, so the caterers could arrive and set up, and stayed a little late when speeches ran over. We feel so lucky and grateful to be a part of the InVINtions family.“

“All I can say is SIMPLY AMAZING! We found this place by chance on a date night and have been coming here ever since. We have grown close to Melissa and her family. Amazing business owner and family in general. Her wines are hands down AMAZING and the prices are great too! This is all around 10/10 amazing with quality and service. We are members also and look forward to driving the hr there to wine taste and just hang out and chat. Her business is a home away from home. She makes her own wine and it is hands down fabulous! Again 10/10! I’m all about looking at reviews prior to going somewhere, and if you’re looking for an amazing wine spot that feels like home, 1000/10 recommend!“

“So they suggestion when I said close to mellow, what is the Zinfandel in the red blend? Bundle was not bad it actually has some really good glow flavors. The red blend. Call sure it does not have the same flavor whatsoever. It is very bitter. The staff was not friendly didn’t understand how better everything tasted.“

Mile High Wine Tours Winery •
1660 Champa St, Denver - 9.33 miles

“had a great experience booking through mile high — the wine experience we went to was at the Blanchard Family wines which had a really great ambience and cool indoor/outdoor type of venue! Their wines are all quite dry (not many sweets if that’s what you’re looking for). Loved doing the tastings with chocolate too! Yum“

“So, I had no idea these folks make their own wine? From living a few blocks away I thought it was solely a tasting room, but no! They import grape juice and then make it wine in house! Any menu items that are not made in house therefore have to be WILD and phenomenal. Cannot recommend the chef enough for Fifth String popping up, like oh my GOODNESS and holy cow wow, but the drinks do not skimp on the wow-factor either! From the in-house wines to infusions, the cocktails are also quite impressive with a spirit list that holds fun and interesting amari too. Dinner was some of the best I have experienced in Denver and yet this place was somehow empty?!? As someone quite familiar with it, this place deserves Michelin attention if not a star. Damn. The wine bar holds up and the Fifth String makes it the complete food + drink package. Cannot wait to take my out of town friends here to impress them with the quality of Denver food compared to NYC, Chicago, or DC. Also: Chef and bar crew went WAY above and beyond with allergies, and made a point to say they take allergies as a challenge and fun option not a burden (wow, seriously? A blessing). The tallow candle perhaps the most fun and inventive despite being just the option for bread to start—really set the bar high! Chef brought out more bread with the “Gems” salad—which whoah…it has no business being this delicious?!?! We got the chicken and short ribs both sans dairy and wow—if these options were on the menu all the time we wouldn’t have asked questions before ordering. We paired dinner with a natural orange wine that’s so new it was off menu, Spanish option, but a perfect calm yet funky wine pairing to highlight the food without overpowering and yet compliment it more—hat’s off to the wine crew! The dessert we were again pleasantly surprised by how rich a non-dairy orange chocolate sorbet could be! Paired with a Negroni twist and the chai cocktail on menu it was SO GOOD! Seriously cannot wait to take friends here from out of town as it’s one of the first non-taco spots that I want to recommend and the food plus drinks were out of this world.“

Carboy Winery Denver Winery • $$
400 E 7th Ave, Denver - 8.07 miles

“Server was friendly and attentive (without hovering), food was delicious and the wines were good. By far my favorite wine from the flights we tried was the Viognier, which isn’t usually a go-to for me. And the baked cambozola was amazing! They were also clearly observing good current phase of pandemic practices, with staff all masked and tables well spaced out. A sign out front demanded patrons put on masks before entering. Made me comfortable, even though it was one of my first experiences returning to indoor dining.“
