We love coming here for their pastries, so it was a no brainier when we decided to come here for a small wedding cake.In a lovely consultation we quickly decided on caramel apple cake, and a simple design of blue and white frosting and gold leaf.I can't wait to get the photos back from our photographer to update with pictures of us cutting the cake.

Good cakes, GREAT MUFFINS!!! If you need a morning snack on the go, grab one (or two) and enjoy your day. The biggest issue is that I had 6 options of muffins and only got 2.....I will be returning to try the others now, very soon. Also, a wonderful experience. The staff is incredibly nice to work with. The best part of the experience was when I broke off the first small piece of the crispy topped muffin and revealed the soft, airy, spongy goodness underneath. My first bite, I expected the sponge to be a little dry (like muffins can often be) and I must say, it was far from what I expected. The perfect crust, topped with crystalized sugar, soft/airy/moist sponge......I felt as if I has chomped into the best muffin I have ever purchased..... Piece by piece, that poor Chai Muffin was surely going to consumed.....no problem, I have the backup Blueberry Muffin to have when I get to the house......or, so I thought.....Needless to say, the first muffin was done by the time I was at Nelson and Airport.....Shoot, guess it wouldn't hurt to have a little piece of the top of the other muffin, right? HA, I was so far wrong....The Chai was great.....the Blueberry was an absolutely AMAZING classic!!! All the goodies with the Chai, add the tart little pots of the blueberries....yeah, that "one bite" turned into the entire muffin.... I know, I know better!!!Anyhow, go check this place out. Grab anything on the menu. Enjoy the staff, enjoy the shop, and return often. This is a great gem for us here in Longmont and I hope we are able to keep this and our other little shops in the community for many, many years!

My husband and I had a mini-pie and cupcake dessert display at our wedding this summer, and both the desserts and service through the whole process were top-notch. We over-ordered desserts thinking we'd have some left over, but our guests loved them so much everything was gone by the end of the night. They also easily accommodated our gluten-free guests. Thank you for making our wedding day that much sweeter!

Pumpkin pie was good pre-covid. Breads, meh. pAvlova in June was excellent, most recent was chewy and disappointing. Bakeshop looks can be deceiving. Taste is the key to success.

I ordered and picked up two beautiful and delicious gluten free cupcakes for my granddaughter to take to a birthday party as she has celiac disease. She said they were yummy ? ?

Wow is all that I can say! I picked up a cake for my girlfriend’s birthday this morning and it’s absolutely gone by 3pm. It was so chocolatey, so moist and so yummy. The frosting was great and the whole group that showed up to celebrate loved it. This was my first cake from the Longmont bakery and it will not be my last. You all crushed it!

I ordered an 8 inch double german chocolate cake for a 90th birthday party. The order was placed 2 weeks before the event. I stopped by the bakery 6 days before the event to confirm what was being ordered and when it was to be picked up. They confirmed the order was for an 8 inch double german chocolate cake to be picked up the day before the party. The idea here was to have a nice tall cake for the party. I had to pick it up a day early because they were closed on the actual day of the party. I stopped by to pick up the cake and what they has was a single (short) 8 inch double german chocolate cake - which would not provide enough servings for the guests. They said they were sorry - then crickets. I explained the problem. They got the original order and confirmed the order was for an 8 inch double german chocolate cake. "Sorry about that" - then crickets. After some discussion about the issue they said they would look to see if they happened to have one more an 8 inch single german chocolate cake. It turns out they did and would be happy to sell it to me. I was irritated, accepted their offer. It would have been great to have the correct cake for an elderly man's 90th birthday party but instead we had to limp along with two cakes. At several points during the discussion of the issue and the fact that they fouled up the order I thought might offer some kind of adjustment. But nope - just crickets. I will NEVER order from them again and I suggest that if you need a cake for an event DO BUY FROM THEM. On the upside the cake was quite tasty.

A very welcoming, open and bright bakery, with lots of amazing looking pastries that gets your juices flowing. I purchased two slices of cake one carrot and one death by chocolate. I definitely prefer the chocolate slice because the carrot was just a little too sweet for my taste. They were both $4.50 each. Very nice people there, too. Enjoy at the couple of tables or takeout.

I'm so happy these ladies bought La Momo Maes. The combo of the bakery and the bread goods is so awesome. Their cracked wheat bread is still my college students favorite and I stopped in the other day for cupcakes for my niece. Great location and locally owned.

Went here fir the 1st time 2 days ago and got several different bakery items for some co worker's. It was a tad high priced imo, bit everyone including myself loved everything. Will definitely go back every so often for more bakery items. The young lady at the counter was also friendly and very helpful.

I had La Momo Maes do a dessert bar for my wedding and it was perfection! The tasting and booking processes were so easy, and they left me with absolutely nothing to worry about day-of. My guests all raved about it and my husband and I were able to enjoy a variety of amazing treats that were both beautiful and delicious. I could not have asked for a sweeter end to my wedding night :)

I love this bakery! However, I recently placed an inquiry to see if a certain cake could be made. I was told yea they could make it. I emailed pic, went in person and met with the staff. There seemed to be no issue until a few days later. I was contacted to verify what I wanted. Another few days passed and I was called again saying they couldn’t put certain things on my cake. I returned the call, left w message with the staff and never received a return call. I placed a call back to cancel my order. The person couldn’t even find my order. I explained to her what it was and she proceeded to ask me if it was another character after I already explained what it was. Just the lack of communication really made me not want to come back.

I am in no way exaggerating when I tell you this is the best cake I have ever had. I ordered a cake through La Maes without ever sampling it because I had a destination wedding. Due to this, I had no real expectations but they completely knocked it out of the park. I had a vanilla cake with lemon cream and raspberry filling. Just spectacular.

Found them online and stopped in to pick up a cheesecake for my husband‘s birthday. Lisa at the counter was absolutely the nicest person ever, and helped me get the right size when I couldn’t make up my mind. She was so kind and helpful, I really appreciated her.

Fantastic!! I don't live in the area, but make a point of going here every time I pass through. They have an amazing array of cupcakes, cakes, breads, etc. and many things I just can't find elsewhere: bear claws, tarts, pavlovas. They also carry savories like empanadas and sandwiches and a variety of drinks including coffee/Espresso. I shall return!
