Being from Georgia, I know good BBQ but what surprised me was how great the catfish was. Holds up with some of the Amish catfish fries I've been to. I had a weird moment with the bartender when she was ringing me up. I ordered the one filet plate and she insisted I ordered the 2 filet plate since I had pulled it apart, giving the impression there were two. I guess that speaks to their very generous portion sizes though. Still quick and fast service. I'll be back whenever I'm craving some catfish.

The portions at this place are always very generous and the service is even better. This is literally the only restaurant in Longmont that I have never had a bad time at! For the quality of service and food this place is way under priced. Paul and Emily kill it every time!Kid-friendliness: We have a 6 month old and for the first time in this town the host and waitresses didn’t look at us like it was a problem to find us a good spot to sit. Unlike Red Lobster who said let’s find a place to put “THAT”
The food was absolutely delicious. Best BBQ that we've had in a long time.We ordered takeout online and were given a pickup time. We arrived two minutes ahead of the pickup time. We ended up waiting more than 20 minutes inside the restaurant past the 55 minutes we waited after ordering. It was 4:00 and the restaurant wasn't very busy. I'm cool with having to wait for good food, but I hope in the future they will either give a more accurate pickup time, call to explain the delay, or be prompt with their promised time. They also forgot one of our sides. Otherwise, no complaints.

This is a common stop for both businesses as well as personal dining. The staff is always attentive and friendly. The menu has a large variety of items to choose from. A personal favorite are the bison ribs and brisket. The meals are served in generous portions and I can't imagine anyone eating at Smokin' Dave's walking away hungry. Great place with nice atmosphere in the older historic part of Longmont.

The staff here is amazing. The manager remembered what I'd ordered previously, when I'd not been in for months! My bf especially loves their fried okra and Reuben. I always order the brisket, and while it's good, it's unfortunately all I eat there due to being celiac. I hope one day they will change things up and set up a dedicated gluten free fryer!

We ordered 3 appetizers to split. The orca was salty and not very good (and I like ocra!). The potato skins were good, but we're a little dry. They were not to die for. The onion rings were large and crispy and sweet. The portions were large, but I don't recommend taking home the onion rings, they are not good reheated.Parking: Being on main Street makes parking difficult. There is a lot closer by, but it is often full.
