We had the best dinner to celebrate our Leap Year Anniversary! We had the cheese trio, split the field greens, my partner had the filet mignon and I had the salmon, and we ended the meal with the warm bittersweet chocolate truffle cake. The salmon was the BEST I have ever had! My partner thought the same of the filet mignon! Everything was fresh, delicious, and a treat to the taste buds! Sugarbeet does a superb job of balancing different flavors. That was demonstrated in every part of the meal. Beyond the sensational food, what makes Sugarbeet an exceptional restaurant is the top-notch service. We were greeted warmly by May when we entered the restaurant. Our server, Aminata, was an absolute delight - warm, friendly, funny, and helpful with all of our food inquiries. We even met one of the owners as we were leaving the restaurant, and he was sincerely interested in how we enjoyed our meal. We enjoyed it! Thoroughly and we will be back! Thank you, Sugarbeet, for making our anniversary special! We only get one every four years, and we are glad we chose to celebrate with you! We are newer to Longmont and have been trying many restaurants. Sugarbeet is our new favorite!

It was our 62nd wedding anniversary and overall very good. We were disappointed in the calamari, served differently than our experience and with tentacles which we find too tough to consume. The apple tart dessert was outstanding as was the complimentary dessert wine.

The food and service were excellent. We very much enjoyed our meal! However, the noise level made it a little difficult for us to talk. Not sure anything could be done about that, though. Overall, we highly recommend the restaurant!

The filet was cooked perfectly, with nice char outside and a soft gently cooked interior, and the accompanying sauce is next level umami. The Hokkaido scallops was a special dish, one of the most delicious bites I've had in a while. Hamachi crudo was fresh, subtle and understated in the right way, with a nice contrast between high notes of acid and richness of the fish. Service is thoughtful and engaged and the unique cocktails were balanced and well developed instead of cutesy or show-offy. We had them choose the dishes for us, and I recommend this approach. This is without a doubt the top restaurant in Longmont, in terms of culinary ambition, execution, and service level.

Went there for a birthday dinner. Ate appetizers, salad, 2 entrees, dessert, and drinks. Food was wonderful and service was good. However, for that type of cost, it would have been nice to comp at least the dessert for the birthday celebration. Just a little disappointing that this nicer restaurant doesn't hold customer experience up at a higher bar.

It is for people who are open to new experiences with food that will elevate their love for food. Our server's name was Erin and we both thought she did an amazing job at guiding us through a wonderful experience.

The gentleman in the front was great and also I am so embarrassed I didn't realize he held out the chair for me before I sat in another one!! SORRY!!
