We went for dinner on the earlier side. Service was very prompt and we were in and out with the kids entertained and fed in an hour. The chef was very accommodating for the kids and asked us what would be best for them regarding the flare ups on the grill etc. The food being ready in stages was great for the young children. The steak was delicious and everything was cooked perfectly.Vegetarian options: Plenty of veggie options available. Cooking on the same surface as the meat might be an issue for some.Dietary restrictions: The server asked about dietary restrictions before taking our order.Parking: Parking could be a little tight if going at a busy time.Kid-friendliness: They had high chairs and immediately brought kids water cups out. The chef was very accommodating and put on a show for the little ones. They were thrilled and enjoyed all the food.

We went yesterday to the “new” location of Mt.Fuji in Louisville. I’m not celiac but my eyes get like baseball balls if I eat gluten. I can tell you the sushi was safe to eat and they even have GF fake crab meat, spacy mayo and the lady said all the soy sauce on the tables were GF as well. I brought mine bc I can’t have soy neither ???‍♀️. Service was good and the suchi was delicious. Made with good quality rice and the right amount on the rolls. Very reasonable priced as well. We ll be coming back. Unfortunately no tempura GF but everything else was great.

The vegetable roll, sans mayo, and AAC roll are my favorites, and vegan. Some of the prices on the menu are lower than what we were billed.Vegetarian options: several rolls, one hibachi option, a few appetizers and other items.Parking: plenty of free parking around restaurant

First time hitting this place for dinner. Service was excellent, friendly and very attentive. We had dumplings and a tempura as appetizers. Both were delicious. Dinner was a combination of sushi and rolls. Everything was top notch! The restaurant is a little loud but that’s to be expected in a restaurant that does hibachi.

Absolutely stupid experience. Our cook Pancho was working his routine like he was catering to a bunch of children, CONSTANTLY saying “thank you Pancho” to Himself. As he’s cooking the food, he starts meowing as he’s cutting up the steak, meowing like really you don’t meow when you’re cutting up a steak that’s offensive and gross at the same time and lastly, the Steak past well done. And the chicken was like chewing leather, it was terrible. The purple saki was definitely no saki and maybe some syrup. It was a real disappointment because we spent close to $200 there before tip and the experience was obnoxious. Again, I don’t understand how that poncho guy can’t read the room and understand he’s not catering to children, these four adults won’t go back again and will definitely tell her other adult friends. No need to go there.

Highly recommend this place especially over benihanas. Benihanas suck. And they’re reservation only. But also just worse. So long story short never go to Benihanas. This place was great service though and fast. And they shot sake into our mouth from 5 feet away! Pretty epic!!!Vegetarian options: Tofu

First thing to know is the restaurant is split in half between the hibachi area and standard table service. Being at the tables is a little odd, as you hear the shouts from hibachi folks enjoying particularly impressive tosses and flames. I do plan to go back to give that a try ... it seems reservations may be helpful. We went on a busy night, so that may have contributed to the many service issues in what ended up being a 1 hour 45 minute dinner -- unexpectedly long considering we ordered only entrees, no appetizers or dessert. We didn't seem to have one server but three who stopped by haphazardly, leaving us for long periods then coming back to back to back. We didn't get the included soup & salad until asking for it when our entrees arrived (but we hadn't seen anyone for 30+ minutes to mention it). We ordered a cold sake, were told it had just been put in the fridge, then saw that exact bottle served to another table across the aisle 15 minutes later -- and this was still well before we had any food, so would have been happy to get it then. As a fitting conclusion, one person brought the check & took our card, then another person brought another copy of the check to pay... The food was solid and a good value. I liked the variety of the "box dinners" including a teriyaki meat, tempura veggies, and a California roll. It's kind of hard to stand out on food alone as there are several great sushi and a variety of Asian restaurants in the area, so this is a good packaging.
