We stopped by one evening about an hour before close hoping for some good BBQ and a beer after a long day's outdoor work. We were seated quickly, got drinks, and placed our order...and that was about it. We sat for nearly an hour without any follow-up or drink refreshment. Tables seated after us received their food, but there was no sign of ours. We started betting with each other about whether our food would make it to table before close.Our entrees arrived about five minutes to close. Our appetizer was forgotten, but probably wasn't a bad thing. The Mac and cheese tasted like limp pasta in watered-down canned cheese sauce, so I can only imagine what the queso dip would have been. Brisket was dry, not too remarkable. We agreed that the food was unremarkable and not worth the price. The service just made the whole experience stand out as mediocre.It's a shame, we thought based on reviews this might be a great little local joint for hot BBQ and brews. Hope they get their service and/or kitchen hiccups ironed out!

Always amazing food and fantastic service! Highly recommend the buffalo shrimp (not on the menu but they'll make it!) Definitely need to add that to the menu permanently!!
I’ve been here 4 times in the last 3 months and they have the best breaded shrimp, cod, and crab cakes I had since moving from California. Service is excellent.

This place is not a fancy place. This place reminds me of a place on the Florida beach where I grew up.Our server Dasha was kind and attentive. The walleye, cod and Mahi Mahi tasted great. The fried shrimp where huge and the jalapeños hush puppies were awesome.Can't wait to go back with a designated driver to have a few of thier rum runners.
Everything here was great: the wings, the fish, the mashed potatoes, and the service. Everything is made from scratch and it makes such a difference. The wait staff deserves lots of credit for keeping up with everyone there. I would absolutely come back here.

We went on a pretty busy day and it was very loud but that didn't detract from how AMAZING the food and service was. My fiance said it was some of the best catfish he has ever eaten! The spicy brisket sandwich was also delicious. They made for great leftovers! As for service, despite it being insanely busy that day, our server was very attentive and on top of things. She was wonderful!
Everything was great. Portions were huge and satisfying.

This place has a funky bar vibe (and smell). Many of the menu items were "Market Price." One of our appetizers was an order of fried mushrooms, which consisted of a small plastic basket (a lot of the food was served in these) with 10 mushrooms, none bigger than a quarter for $10.95 ($1+ per mushroom). These were nothing special, not gourmet or in some way worthy of that price. They may have even been frozen.I found that many of the prices on the physical menu had been raised without updating the menu on their website.The idea of BBQ and seafood in the same restaurant is a good one, but the execution was lacking.Bar atmosphere, high prices, and small portions can't coexist in the same restaurant for very long.
Me and my family ordered food and wings are supposed to be the best in the area. We had crusty little wings that had no meat on the bones I was very unimpressed. When I told that to the waitress she blew it off. When you advertise the best wings in Loveland they better be the best wings and Loveland in for the price I paid, not so good. I definitely am not going back to this restaurant.

Hogfish has a nice fun, relaxed atmosphere. Very laid back and inviting. They have a nice patio seating area and plenty of space inside. It's very clean and you can tell that it is managed well. The servers are great. Very attentive. The food was tasty. I ordered catfish and it came with two sides and some hush puppies. As well as some wings and a salad. I know in this economy that food prices are extremely high. I do think that it was a little overpriced but again in this economy everybody is kind of struggling to keep up. For example, a chicken salad was $17. In my opinion I think that's overpriced. Maybe if it was $12 to $14 I could understand but $17 almost $20 is out of range and then if you wanted to add fish to it it becomes $24. But back to the food everything came out extremely hot, fresh and delicious. The catfish was a little undersized but it was fine. The smoked chicken wings were just okay. I wouldn't say that they were my absolute favorite but they were just fine. I'll touch dry. I maybe would have brined them especially if I was going to smoke them because the inside was not very juicy. I probably wouldn't order them again. But I would go back there to try some different dishes again. The price was a little bit more than I loved, but of course we paid for it and we enjoyed our experience.Kid-friendliness: They have a nice patio area. We're families can be out and enjoy.
