Just came back from celebrating my fiftieth birthday at Nordy’s. The food and service were top-notch! Our server Eli recommended that I get brisket and turkey on my combo plate and he did not steer me wrong. Both were tender and juicy (especially the turkey, which tends to dry out). My family will definitely be going back (there’s a bread pudding that I just gotta try)!

Best barbecue I've had in quite some time.Traveling for work and stayed over in Loveland for the weekend.Ribs - perfectBrisket - tender, juicySausage - deliciousSmoked turkey - awesomeSides of baked beans, potato salad and okra all very good.Our server Sam was the sweetest young lady. Attentive but not smothering.Will definitely eat here again next time I'm in the area.Heck, I might drive up from Oklahoma just to eat here again.
Dan is the best thing to happen to this place. I’m going to miss him, he’s always on top of things and is very nice to every customer I’ve seen him talk to. Great food too!

This is a review of the lunch buffet ($15/person).A busy place, but staff attentive. Food review by item:Meats: sausage, brisket, shredded chicken, pulled pork. Brisket tough and lacked any smoky flavor. Chicken in an overly sweet sauce. Pulled pork dry. Sausage had a mushy texture. Meat was a miss for me. LOVED the five sauce selection at the tables. Something for everyone.Sides: salad was fresh and hit the spot. Potato salad strong onion taste. Cole slaw good but also has macaroni in it?Baked beans really sweet. Mashed potatoes definitely homemade and seasoned well. Green beans needed salt.Dessert: blueberry cobbler and apple cobbler. Fresh and tasty with a thick topping. Would be even better with some cinnamon sugar baked on top and some ice cream to add on top too.

Been looking forward to eating here and finally got the chance. Joined the online waiting list for 5, said we were 5th in line and checked in with the hostess inside. Waited over the allotted time and checked back in with the hostess and they seemed to have deleted us out of the waitlist. When she came back she said they were getting something cleaned off for us. They ended up putting us in a booth….5 in a booth. So the waitress got us our drinks and then didn’t come back. Needless to say we left and won’t be coming back. Terrible customer service.
