Excellent service, better food!Must try the fried catfish! Being from Mississippi, I know good food (especially fried catfish) and after living in Colorado for the last 7 months, this was hands down my favorite place I’ve eaten.

Good local Colorado mountain town cafe. Pleasant folks and mostly local patrons. Great steak and eggs breakfast, fairly priced. Beef quality is good.

Great place to stop for lunch with family and friends. There Friday night prim rib is very well worth the drive from Cedaredge for me.. And they have my favorite ice cold beer on tap..lol The guest rooms are very clean and comfy.

The motel room was incredibly comfortable and clean. However, getting checked in and checked out was a chore. We showed up around 8 p.m. on a Friday night and were told that they did not have our reservation through Expedia. They thankfully had rooms available, so we were able to get one, but for $10-20 more than we had expected from Expedia. On the back of the door in our room, it said to bring keys to the restaurant/front desk to check out the next morning. The next morning, we tried to check out around 9 a.m. The doors to the restaurant/front desk were all locked. We ended up winding our way around to the kitchen where we found a woman working. We told her that we needed to check out. She told us that we could've just left the keys in the room. She took them anyway, and we hope they got to the right spot. Also, we had planned our timing so that we could eat dinner and breakfast the next morning there. We used the hours posted on Google and double-checked with their website. Neither was right, and this was the biggest disappointment because of the great reviews for the restaurant. The website said that the restaurant was open until 9 p.m. We asked if we could eat dinner there after we checked in at 8, and they said that the kitchen closed at 8 p.m. The bar was open, but no food. We had to drive 30 minutes back the way we came to find an open restaurant. The next morning, while we were talking with the woman in the kitchen, we realized that even though the website said they opened at 8 a.m. for breakfast, we were out of luck. The woman confirmed this by telling us that the restaurant didn't open until 11 a.m.Overall, we loved our room once we got into it, but we were pretty disappointed by the lack of, or mis-, communication about timing for the restaurant on the website and the check in/check out procedures. It was a bit nerve-wracking. Due to all of this, we likely would not stay here again.

Recenly stopped in for some Rocky Mountain Oysters. I was disapointed I spent $16 on bull balls that were shrivelled and overly fried. They tasted like a sweaty human nut sack! Never again! Some of the best I ever had were at the Colorado Room in Fort Collins. The service was decent. They are also trying to chase the liberals away with the "Born Right T-Shirt they wear" I'm not a liberal, but they are chasing away people. Never mix your politics beliefs with your business operation. That's a bad buisness move.

We always like to eat at local places when we travel, but it can be hit or miss. The Wagon Wheel was definitely a hit! We had the French dip sandwiches, and the sauce was the best ever! Prices were good and staff were very nice. Hats off to them!

Stopped in for breakfast and the servers are friendly, the food was delicious and the portions were large. I would definitely recommend stopping and grabbing a bite to eat if you're in the neighborhood.

Great hole-in-the-wall type restaurant. We stop here any time we go up to the Mesa. We are from the south so we miss good southern cooking and this place is the closest I've found to southern food (it's not advertised this way). They have poboys that are pretty good as well as a catfish place (!!!) that was quite good. Their mozzarella sticks are good too. My whole party enjoyed their meals. All they need now is sweet tea!
