“Hidden gem of Montrose. Authentic flavors, and super friendly service! Always pleasant to see a family running a restaurant together. A tantalizing array of Mexican snacks. The Strawberry cream Fresca, Cucumber Lime Fresca are refreshing. Their Mangonada is the perfect blend of tangy and sweet. The salad dish type of thing with cucumbers and mixed fruit and Tajin is mind boggling. Must try for anyone coming to Montrose.“
“I ordered the chicken burrito, add egg with no potato and it was really excellent. It was protein packed, not greasy at all. Definitely enjoyed it and I even think it was better than my husbands sausage burrito. They even gave my dog a treat. Great, quick service.“
“Best street tacos on the western slope! They also have a full fresh salsa bar with everything from sweet fruit salsa to burn your bum thru your mouth hot ?. Family friendly. Fast and friendly staff, With a full beer and margarita menu.Kid-friendliness: High chairs and booster seats available upon request.“
“We visit El Jimador two or three times a month, and it's always a great experience. The cheese and onion enchiladas are our favorite, but everything on the menu is amazing. What sets this place apart, though, is the service. The staff is super friendly and fast, always ensuring our drinks are refilled and that we have plenty of chips and salsa. The cabbage is also always full, which is a small but important detail. We genuinely love this place and highly recommend it to anyone looking for great food and excellent service.“
“Amazing restaurant. Food was fresh and delicious with a menu to make our group all happy. Vegan options! Fish! Carne!Homemade flavors shine through. The salsa is the best I’ve ever had. Charming atmosphere and wonderfully friendly wait staff.Vegetarian options: Veg and vegan options. Veg burritos and enchiladas and fajitas. Delicious.Dietary restrictions: Easy to choose vegan substitutions. Veggie enchiladas were fantastic.“
“I don't know why this place isn't packed on the weekends. We went there two Saturdays in a row and there were only two other groups of people there. The food is delicious and the staff is super nice, friendly and attentive. I recommend the sushi!“
“Wow!!! Cortez, Co what luck!! Your newest Mexican Restaurant, Agave Azul Taqueria & Bat is a wonderful gem!! I had the Al Pastor burrito, which was absolutely delicious!! When I have to take half my meal home because it's too big to eat, it's a win win, I have lunch the next day . Their salsa bar is all house made salsas which, of the three tried, all were AHHHmazing. The food was fantastic! Prices were good and portion sizes were great. Staff was friendly, and the bar tender, Aldo, made a mean margarita!! I definitely recommend checking the place out. There are so many delicious options on their menu, I can't wait to go back.“
“This was a unique experience that I was not expecting. The menu is extensive with many options for meatlovers or vegetarians. There were so many seafood options I thought I was on the coast of Mexico. The staff were very professional and were dressed nice.“
“best red sauce ive had at a restaurant in a long time. good prices for what you get everyone in my group enjoyed the food.warning, though, sometimes they put sour cream and guac on dishes where it is not stated in the menu, so its necessary to request they hold these sides even when there was no indication they would be on a given dish(it basically ruined my tostada and i only got to eat about half my food bc of it, which was sad. i spent the meal wishing id ordered something with that delicious red sauce instead.)Dietary restrictions: ask questionsjust bc the menu doesnt list it, doesnt mean it wont be served with it.“
“We hit up this little spot last weekend and their menudo was to die for! A little heavy on the salt, but nothing some lime couldn’t help. They add hominy to it & it’s a great mix. My wife had Al pastor tacos. 8/10. A little on the overcooked side. Overall it was delicious & we will be back.“
“This Taco Bell is the newer one in Montrose, of two. It used to be a Taco John's location. At least they kept the same food theme. I stopped in mid afternoon and the place only had a few customers. As is my usual routine, I went with the drive thru and did not go inside. The service was fast and the wait short. Everything in my order was done properly and tasted good. My compliments to the prep crew.Server was friendly but might have been a newer employee since he seemed to be a bit rushed but he did a good competent job and I left satisfied. Overall, it was a good visit.“
“The food was decent. Waitress was busy talking to friends when we came in, so it took a bit for service, but after that, service was ok. Their idea of a cheese dip, that which we dip our chips in and put on our food when it comes, and ours is completely different. They also should explain that they are going to charge you $13 for it.“
“Taco shops are a ubiquitous part of our American restaurant scene, but few are authentic with full flavor, like you'd get walking the streets of a mid-sizedmexico town. The setting might make you think you were transported south of the boarder, as it's a somewhat humble environment. To me, this adds to the experience.THESE are some of the best tacos I have had outside Mexico! Everything is made in house, including the chips.Definitely try the fish or shrimp tacos! They may change your perception of reality. The asada stands on its own as well.Highly recommended!“
